| Are Yorkies plotting to take over the world? My husband is always joking that Yorkies are too smart for their own good and are plotting to take over the world. He says that he thinks the YT meetups are really for all the Yorkies to get together and talk about their plans. LOL. Well, last night I had to run into to Petsmart to get a few things while hubby waited in the car. I couldn't resist the Yorkie magazine while I waited in line. When I got back into the car, I opened up the magazine and started flipping through the pages and began laughing at one of the articles. Right there on page 11 it says, "The Yorkshire Terrier is plotting to take over the world - starting with your house!". It talks about their steps to take over the world. I immediately showed DH and he goes, "See, I told you! But the Yorkies are going to be angry that they are giving away their plans." LOL :P

Senior Yorkie Talker | Lol!~ I totally agree, it DOES seem like they are slowly taking over. All my life I had been partial to "big" dogs....retrievers, husky's, labs...etc. They when my children were grown and in college, I wanted a little companion to keep me company here in the house. It seems like since I've gotten a Yorkie,...now they're EVERYWHERE!!! Is it just because I have one now, that I'm noticing them more?? Or are they really taking over??~ I know one thing for sure...I love mine beyond measure and it's no wonder they are sooooooo popular

| I always say that the only thing that comes between a Yorkie and world domination is their lack of opposable thumbs. During the last Presidential campaign, when I found out that the McCains had two Yorkies, I told hubby that the Yorkshire Terrier plan for world domination was coming to a critical point .... if those Yorkies made it into the White House, it would all be over. They would kick out the first family and be the leaders of the free world. What if a Yorkie became President? I think it would become a dictator and re-write the constitution. That would be an interesting document!

So, we are just the PAWNS in all of our Yorkies' chess games - OMG. I really wonder what their ultimate political platform is....wow....I know Wylie, for one, would be *all for* Yorkie Health Care. Marcel just wants unlimited access to nostrils, and that's it.

I think Gwenndilyn would be a greedy politician... she's always stealing Finnigan's toys and fighting over who gets to sit in my lap, so I'll really have to watch her agenda.

| I read the article too! Don't tell my yorkie. We talk about things in code to avoid her ability to dominate--it's not working! She knows all the codes now. We're weak and under her control! Help us...save us...it's most patheic when she just looks at us and all four of us drop what we are doing to crowd around her and pet her. Seriously--we are all busy people and she always wins! |
