Can someone tell me what type of coat Bailey has, I'm still not sure! - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Bailey is 10.5 months and is coat is extremely slow growing. It gets very oily looking on his head, more so then on his body. His coat is thin too. Is this a modified coat?

im not an expert on coats but me looking i would think either silky or moderate

To me he looks silky with puppy hair still attached. He's cute!

I don't know coats too well but I do know faces and boy does he have a cute one!

Awww thanks

He does still have a little puppy hair, I've trimmed him a little, some still comes off in the comb when I comb him out. I wish I had more experience with yorkies and the various coats etc! I did meet a morkie the other day, her hair was much coarser then Bailey's and boy was she a pretty little thing!

probably silky...Mei Ling is a true silky and when she was younger she always look greesy no matter if she just had a bath....
