I'm so sorry for your loss. I would tell your brother how hurt and upset you are with what he said. There is no need for a 43 yr. old to be that cruel. If you can't tell him face to face send him an email or a note. Let him know how much he hurt you. I'm happy to hear you're getting a little one to fill up your heart.

Agree with all... Sometimes people don't understand the bond you can have with a pet. It's sad that with the passing of your loved pup, you would have to deal with hurtful comments as well.
