| Vet called back. Update on Ceeby Someone offered prayers a few minutes ago and I think that has made a difference in Ceeby. Seems like as soon as I read that, he started getting better. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. he has played a little like his old self. he has nibbled my ears and toes. His belly is cool now. The vet called and he thinks he will be fine but if not, I am to call him back no matter what time it is. He said if he has been scooting, he has worms. Thus, the not eating. We wormed him about five, I think it was so the vet said that medicine probably has kicked in and that is why he seems to be getting better. Also, the yelping is no doubt from the shot and it will just take time to get over that. I suspect my husband might have unintentionally hurt him. he is used to giving his beagle babies shots. I keep telling him these little guys are nothing like his beagle babies and he can't treat him the same way. He thinks a pup is a pup and of course we yorkie folks know better. Ceeby is so much better I can't believe it. I can still tell he is not himself all the way yet but should be by morning except the soreness from the shot. I was in such despair and now I feel foolish. I just knew for sure he was going to die or something. Thank you all for your replies and prayers. Oh and I just now gave him the nutricl which he licked with no problem. |

| I'm sorry he was sick. I was gone and missed that, but it sounds like he is getting better now and who could ask for anything more?

| Hi from Rowdy's Mom - I'm so glad that your baby is better. I'm glad you called the vet too, it sounds like everything will be OK and if not, then you can call him back, anytime, like he said. I know that I panicked the first time my baby had diarrhea and wouldn't eat. He was only 9 weeks old and sooo tiny. I grabbed him up so fast and took him to the vet. I'm lucky now though, that I live in the city and have that option, day or night. And yes, licking the nutrical is my "gauge" with Rowdy. If he will lick the nutical, then I'm not in the panic mode - but when he won't lick it, I know he feels very badly because nutrical is his very most special favorite treat in the whole wide world! Of course, that doens't mean that he might not be very very sick and still lick nutrical - but at least I know that he will be taking in some nutrition when he will lick it and won't get hypoglycemic. Anyway, it is always better to be safe than sorry - I bet vets joke about their crazy Yorkie Mom's calling all hours of the day and night. But you know what - I DON'T CARE!!! (I am glad when they answer the phone or call back though! Keep a close eye on your little one - you are a GREAT Yorkie mom!!!

| I am so happy everything is better. I know that feeling when you think the outcome might not be good. It is like losing a human. These babies are so special to us!!! |
