Senior Yorkie Talker | New and amazed at talent I see here..... Hi, Just joined and have learned so much in reading some of the things. Sounds like some people would have a good start at going to vet school. I have no children at home. All my 3 are married and I have 4 wonderful grandchildren. Then My 2nd family began. PRIOR TO THIS we always had a family dog. Now we have 4 little ones. Rocky and Baby came to us via a vet friend who bred her maltese to a 3# yorkie. i had lost my dog of a lifetime just a jew months before and wanted never to have another dog. She insisted,so! Then in an effort to get a dog for family member I bred Baby to a white poodle. 2 puppies later, gave 1 to family and kept 1,name of Teddybear. Then bred her again back to yorkie, to get my sister a puppy. She had 7 and 5 puppies lived. We gave 1 to sister, kept 1, PoohBear. Then sold 3 of puppies to my friends clients. Poohbear is another dog of a lifetime. We love them all but we are learning the problems new to us of multiple dogs as apposed to one dog. I am hoping to learn some things from all of you on how to deal with some of these problems...Will post pics as soon as I learn how to do it. Everyone is healthy except Pooh has Pancreatitis and IBS. She is 7 now, 5 when her first attack occurred. We have learned so much about this terrible disease and if anyone needs help we can give what we know. I am real excited just reading some of the things you are all sharing. This is a great help to all. Wish I had found you sooner, like back when I almost lost her and she was anorexic. How frightening. Thanks to each and everyone of you who sit down and take the time to help. It is so very nice and refreshing to experience this sharing. Jessie and Poohbear |

| Hi and welcome aboard. So happy you found us, better late than never. I was just in Camarillo Tuesday. (It's over 100 miles from where I live. I took my Papillon to Dr. DaSilva to see if she's a good candidate for cataract surgery, and she is. I'll be making more trips down there, especially when I drop her off for surgery and spend the day there and pick her up that evening. Maybe we could meet for lunch. I don't know a thing about Camarillo or the best place to eat.

Senior Yorkie Talker | Sounds like success So glad your little one can get the surgery. Sometimes we get so caught up in the negative stuff our little ones go thru. Sure nice to hear of success when something great happens. Oh my gosh, if you like to shop and never been here, are you in for a treat. Living here I know all the shops. We have such a great outlet. There are nice places to eat here also and in T.O. Just let me know what you like and will get it lined up. Sounds like fun.Jessie and Poohbear |

| Right now she's on her first step before surgery is decided. She's on stronger eye drops once a day to clear up a little redness. The Dr. wants me to call after she's on the drops for a week to let her know if the red is gone. (I'll know by the 18th if and when I drop her off. I will definitely let you know. It will be nice to meet you and go to your favorite haunts.
