I bought her!! Need a little help! Well I went to see the little yorkie yesterday and when I saw her I just had to get her! Shes 18 months old and this lady sold it to a breeder as she decided to do some travelling. She was really nervous all day and was sick. Poor wee thing. As expected I'm having accidents with pee-pee and poo and I'm unsure the best way to go about this as she is still a little nervous! Thanks alot and any help is much appreciated.

Congrats! Did the breeder say in what manner she was potty-trained before?

Let her settle in first - she's confused. After that a steady calm approach.. maybe the breeder didn't keep her in the house? You may have to start from stratch with the training. She may well have been housetrained once and it will soon come back to her with lots of praise from you when she does right. When training ours and if they went in the house as pups (they go outside, I don't use pads!) - I just used to try and catch them in the act and just act sort of "shocked" not annoyed and place them out in the garden... they soon wanted to please and accidents got fewer and fewer. What are you calling your new little girl? Do tell us more about her!! Ana xx

The breeder said that she was out most of the day as this lady was working. After she came home from work she was brought in. It will just take time with her, she is really cute and she's called Holly. Will let you know how I'm getting on. Many thanks.
