I do think some Biewers have a look that is different than a parti, especially those who both sides can be traced back to Germany. Some breeders are mixing parti's and Biewers and I believe this dilutes the Biewer line. The German Biewers seem to have a much thicker coat and they seem to be bigger boned. This would affect how the tail on each would look. A very small boned tail, with sparse hair, might look more rat-like, while a bigger boned tail with very thick hair, could be quit pleasant. |

I just love the full tails on my Morkies, and wouldn't have minded if my Yorkie had one too. Can't wait to see more pics as your pups start growing more. |

That is one spunky looking fur baby....LOVE THAT!!! Very very very cute!! |
I guess the tail hair will be what the coat will end up being...fluffy tail if their coats will be a cotton/soft coat or more sparse if a silk coat. You'll just have to wait when those gorgeous babies grow up :) I've seen some standard yorkies from Europe with full tails in pictures and it seems the European yorkies have more of a thicker silk coat than those over here in the US. Doesn't matter anyway you'll love them anyway :) |
