YT Addict | new problem my pup axel is almost 5 months old, during the day he has to stay in the laundry room with his bed, toys food water and pee pee pad, well as he got older he started to tear up his pads so....this weekend we got him a holder for it, now he won't use it afraid to step into it I guess...so now he is holding it allll day! which is a long time. 6am - 3pm. I can't come home or don't have anyone to come home during the day I work at a public school. He holds it all nite in his crate so I know he can hold it but I'm surprised he is holding it...help! |

| He's probably sleeping anyway. I dunno. Mine didn't really tear them up but a time or two, so I was lucky. Perhaps you could tape them down???????? I'd be afraid of him holding it that long. I'd worry about a bladder infection. I don't know if that's what could happen though.

| i like the idea of tapeing then down if possible or you could try a thinner holder that may help but if he is holding it in he will be okay i would think i know that we would like our babies to be comfortable but if he could not hold it he wouldn't gatsby has always been able to hold it all threw the night so all day is not unbelievable

| Have you tried the washable pee pads. He wouldn't be able to tear those up and you wouldn't need the holder. Cathy, mom to Sarge and Little Bit |

| yeah...we gave up on the whole pee pee pad thing...every time we used one, it was torn to shreds. I would love to get a holder for it though, I just need to get the ok from my hubby. If he still says no, I'll probably go buy it anyways, haha...Also on that list is a dog bed for the bathroom (which my boys are locked in while we are at work). I would just stick your little one on the pad, so they see the holder won't attack them, haha. Slowly he might get used to it...
