| Though it has been going on for the last week, tonight has been my breaking point. I was lying on the floor, taking a nap with Stewie. He starting biting me and the pillow and took a good shot at my face. I had been trying to replace my hand and foot and blanket with one of his toys to chew on. He's 16 weeks. Is he teething? Is he crazy? What's going on? I want to do something for his gums if he is, but I am completely clueless. No one on the web donated a lot of time to this subject. I really don't want a biter.

| Congrats on your latest addition!! Very likely, he's teething. You can buy a product called "Bitter Apple" at the pet store and spray it on your hands and things you don't want him to bite, like furniture, etc. One thing I learned from puppy school: When he nips your hand while playing, you must YELP very loud in the same fashion a puppy would yelp when they are hurt. This will shock him and she'll back off. This is how they behave when they play with bros and sisters in their litter. A high pitched YELP indicates that the playing has gone a bit too far. |

| I have the bitter apple stuff; I've sprayed everything except myself To tell you the truth, I never thought of spraying my hands/feet/clothes with it.
