Keep looking for Mr right. Hes obviously not an animal lover and I dont know about you but I couldnt be with someone that didnt love animals like I do |
As my mother always said: "Be leary of those that don't love children, animals or flowers". If this man is eluding too you giving up these 2 loving pets....think about what else he'll ask you to give up. Move on.....find someone that will take all 3 of you. |
Huh!!! I would almost consider 2 Yorkies a bonus if I were him!! And as said earlier....if he doesn't have any time for 2 beautiful furbabies....then what is he gonna think about the owner??!! |
you can meet the most wonderful man in the world, if he is not accepting of your furbabies, what kind of life do you expect to have with him? I'm an animal lover from day 1 and furbabies will always be a part of my life. You will meet a man who enjoys your babies as much as you. He's out there~ |

This guy is insecure and immature. Stay away from him. Find a man who is secure enough in his masculinity to appreciate you and your little furbabies.;) |
See ya!! My husband and I adopted Shelby (yorkie mix) from a rescue a year ago, my husband IS NOT a dog lover!! Well, all that changed when we got his little girl Shelby!! What a different man!!! Now we have a little brother for her, Henry. I never thought he could love a dog as much as he does these little ones. Leave this guy in the cold, and move on. Try to volunteer at the local animal shelter, they need good people like you, and you're sure to meet a great guy there who shares your love of animals. He's a loser and he's going to miss out on a wonderful life with you and your love bugs! But everyone is right, you'll meet someone when you least expect it! I did! |
I am sorry he said that to you! You will find the perfect guy who will accept you and your yorkies for who you are. No need to waste your time on a man that is making you choose between two loves. |
Dump that Jerk! You'd be settling for less. You deserve the love of your furbutts, and my test has always been if my dogs don't like you, then that is a red flag, and you wouldn't want a relationship under those circumstances. :D |
Well, that tells me all I need to know about this man:thumbdown |
I am long past trying to turn myself inside out to achieve the good graces of someone who probably doesn't have any (good graces). Asking me to give up my dogs - who give me so much pleasure, companionship and love - would be like telling me to turn my back on my kids. And any man who would ask such a thing isn't worth my time. Someone who would ask that won't STOP asking you to give up things until he's the only thing left in your life, and you're totally dependant upon him. Dangerous ground, that :( . On the other hand, there's a chance you misunderstood what he was saying? Was he trying to boost himself by saying that it would be hard for you to find someone when you had two dogs, but he doesn't mind them? That he's a good choice *because* he accepts the dogs? If that's not the case, then it is what it is: he's already dumped you once; don't give him a second chance to do it again, especially after he's separated you from your furbabies. The dogs love you *without* and strings or conditions ... the same cannot be said about him. Just my opinion ... |
I am sorry but what your ex said, just makes me angry... How does he know how other men will be around your babies? OH MAN that just makes me mad. He isn't worth your time of day, if he is going to treat you like that. There are many men out there who like dogs, big and small!! Don't let his harsh words get to you!! I think that is why I am still singal, cause I have my own saying... Love me love my boys!! and You can't have one with out the other!! Quote:

Yes your Mom is right. And my son's (ah humm..single adults) LOVE their fur sisters!Don't tell them I said this but.... they play with them, buy them Christmas gifts, kiss them and carry them around. Soo sweet, so not all guys are like this.I would say he has a problem.Dump him.The right guy is around the bend! |

Ditch him, let him know that he will have a hard time finding a "woman" being the cold selfish s.o.b. that he has shown himself to be. If a person doesn't love animals that says enough about them for me. After years of heart ache and pain I realized that I do not need a man to be happy, I find life with my son and my six little furry butts alot happier and alot less stressful;) At the end of the day I get alot more love too. I would not trade a hair from any one of my babies for any man that I have met so far:p |
