Angry at Breeder

Sorry about your pup! That's awful that the "breeder" sold you the dog knowingly lying to you!!

Weird question...where did you get the ringworm (on your body). I'm a teacher and kids come in with it in the weirdest places. I would have thought it'd be on their hands or arms, but it's on their faces, heads, very odd places!

So Douglas Sizemore is the one who lied to you about the ringworm and who refused the treatment? How come the info on the AKC paper is a different name then? Maybe some of the breeders here on YT can answer this one? I'm confused.

I've never heard of either of those names. Did you buy him around here or another part of Ohio?

Is ringworm the only issue? I am curious as to why Rocco is on an antibiotic - would be counterproductive in the tratement of a fungal infection.


We had a pup that contracted ringworm - awful thing for a Yorkie - Baron lost about 75 percent of the hair on his body and it took about 2 months to get rid of the fungus and then another 2 months for his hair to grow back. But, he got over it. Our vet gave us a chlorhexadine solution to mix in his shampoo and that's all we did to treat him. Bath every 3 days I think...

The guy she bought him from is probably a broker. They buy from puppy mills and resell them.

The whole situation is sad.

This happen to me as well. When I purchased my first yorkies a Breeder was recommended to me, I called and spoke with her at length about her program and my expectations. I signed her contracts, paid her the money and when I received the AKC papers another persons name was on them as the breeder. The woman never once mentioned this breeder to me at the time of sell the only time we spoke of the breeder was when I began having problems with the dogs genetically and then she had no problem throwing her "Friend" under the bus!!

I was wondering the same thing. An antibiotic is not going to help a fungus.
My dog had ring worm when i adopted him from the shelter (just minutes before they were going to put him down for it) and the vet had me put lotrimin on it 3-4 times a day for 2 weeks and it cleared up and the fur grew back. My vet specified this brand because it is the strongest....
