| Hubby agreed to a second yorkie!!!! Sooo, Rex is three years old now and my hubby finally agreed to allowing me to get another. I have a few questions though. I think I want another boy, but I'm not sure. Do boys typically get along? I also wonder if Rex will become jealous of the new puppy... He is a mama's baby. I don't want him to be upset. Will the new puppy be easier to train than Rex was. Rex wasn't terrible to train, I've just heard training the second one is often easier. Any advice will be appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!!

| I have three boys and three girls, they all get along great. I think it is a little easier to potty train as they teach each other the ropes.

| I haven't had two of the same sex in these little guys. I have a boy (biewer)Bogie and a girl (yorkie)Jada. They get along extremely well. Oh and on the potty training note: Jada is the older of my two and I had her before we got Bogie, she was still having accidents about 3-4 times a week. She has done so much better since, I think they compete to see who can pee and poop on the pad first.LOL

| we just got our 2nd girl. so far she's the devil!!! our first, honey, is calm, cool, and collective. she lounges around and is SUPER smart!!! our newest, Bindi, is hyperactive, yappy, and is so HARD to train!!! I can't say much more because she is only 10 weeks old but WOW!!! The difference in the two is amazing! We are house training her and it is going well... considering she's so young. It took about a week for the two to get along but now Honey has assumed the "mommy"role. it's quite cute really. and we are working on getting Bindi to stop barking so much, i cant stand it!!! anyway, thats my quick gripe :P. i do LOVE my newest addition, and i know that when she starts growing shes gonna get smarter :P. but i is hard going from an only "dog" to two of them lol good luck!!

| Thanks, y'all. Also, Rex is crate trained... Should I get a second crate for the puppy, or should they share???

| I would have a second just to see how they get along. After they are around each other for a while, then they can share.

YT 2000 Club Member | Congrats on getting the new puppy. Jasmine and Prissy have their own crates. Since Prissy was 7 years old when we got Jasmine we thought it might be better for her. Prissy was a huge help in housebreaking Jasmine, she followed Prissy outside each time and just did what Prissy did. Have a Great day!
