| why's she growling at her behind? My Chloe started growling at her behind, whinning and chewing on herself. I've searched her over and cant find anything like fleas or anything on her. Should i be concerned? She's never done this before. Last edited by socalyorkiemom; 10-09-2005 at 09:19 PM. |

| Has she put on some weight? That's why I do it. J/K Sometimes they get plugged up and can't poop. If she doesn't stop, I would give your vet a call. I hope she feels better soon.

| Maybe her anal glands are inflammed...I think if I were in your shoes, I would have the vet check her out.

Is she scooting or itching ? They can express the anal glands if that's what the problem is and she'll be WAY more comfortable.... | |

| make sure next time she poos you look at it. it could be worms (as above). there are ?2? different kinds and one you can see. it may also look like a yellowish rice is stuck to her rearend fur. i do hope this is not your problem! |

| It could be a list of anything really?? . I would take her to the vet if she seems to continue this behavior. Poor thing, obviously something is irritating her. The above posts list some causes that really might sound like what the problem is. Hope Chloe feels better very soon.

| A trip to the vet is probably good. Is she passing gas? Mom and Dad's lab used to do that when she was a puppy and passed gas. And then she would be offended by the odor and move. |
