well one year ago my mom got her Maltese from BREEDERS DIRECT AND SHE STILL HAVE NO PAPER ON HER DOG AND EVERY TIME WE CALL ABOUT IT WE GET THE RUNNING AROUND NOW THEY SAY THE PAPER WAS MAILED OUT 2 TIMES AND WE NEVER GOT IT and the sad part is my mom paid 3 thousand for her dog and no papers so she cant even breed her dog because no papers . she even had a D.N.A. test done to make sure it was a full blood Maltese . she was that's the only good thing . when you pay 3 THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR A DOG YOU WANT YOUR PAPERS !! SO IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF I WOULD NOT BUY A DOG FROM BREEDERS DIRECT I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE DISGUSTED WITH A COMPANY THEM I"AM WITH BREEDERS DIRECT WOW I ALL MOST FOR GOT TO TELL YOU THE FIRST DOG SHE PAID FOR SHE DID NOT GET BECAUSE THEY SAID IT HAD A HEART PROBLEM AND WOULD NOT GIVE HER MONEY BACK JUST SENT A PHOTO OF ANOTHER ONE AND TOLD HER SHE COULD GET THAT ONE ARE WAIT 6 MONTH'S FOR ANOTHER ONE !! SHE GOT ONE THAT WAS ALREADY 3 MONTH OLD JUST A RIPOFF SO I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM BREEDERS DIRECT ..... PLEASE GET THE WORD OUT THANKS

First off just looking at the sites first page I would of never considered getting a dog from a place called Breeders direct, there is a 1-800 number, that just screams out puppy brokers. Sorry you got ripped off but this isn't surprising from a place like this. And 3 grand. wow that is ridiculous. I would file a complaint with the Better business bureau.

It's a shame, sometimes people have to learn on their own. It was an expensive lesson. Is her pup at least healthy? I would probably call the AKC as well if that is the registry and let them know.
