Yorkie Yakker | ![]() Hi all, Rocky and I are new here and just wanted to say hi. Tell me something, will he have to go outside at 3:00 am forever? Ugh, I need my sleep but we are still having fun with a 5 month-old puppy in the house..... ![]() ![]()

| ![]() Welcome to YT!! No he shouldn't have to go at 3 am forever. He's still a baby so it will be some time. Once he's an adult you can start watching how late it is that he's eating and how often you are walking him and his schedule should adjust to sleeping over night without waking to go. He's very cute!!!!

YT Addict | ![]() wow I must have really got lucky, my axel has never got up at nite he goes to bed at 9pm and sleeps till 5 am and 6 am on the weekends...he has never pee pee in his bed. Now when my mother in law was here she said she heard him in the nite at 3am she said he whinned one time, I didn't here him so I guess he went back to sleep...so maybe having him in his crate in the living room (we leave him there, that is the warmest room with the fireplace) and we keep the heat low 65 at nite, don't want him to get cold) is a good thing....cause I don't get up! |

| ![]() When Callie was a puppy she had to go out at around 3:00am and after a few months it upgraded to 6:00am for a long time and now at 2 and a half she will sleep in until at least 9 or 10 am sometimes even 11am.
