3:00 am forever? Hi all, Rocky and I are new here and just wanted to say hi. Tell me something, will he have to go outside at 3:00 am forever? Ugh, I need my sleep but we are still having fun with a 5 month-old puppy in the house..... :animal-pa:animal-pa |
Hey, welcome to YT! :) How are his sleeping arrangements: crate, bed, ex-pen, etc? Jackson began sleeping thru the night around 18 weeks old but I would always pull his food/water up by 10pm, let him out one last time at 10, and then wake up around 7am with him. Now that he's over 1 year of age, he will sleep in pretty late with me, especially on weekends. This morning he slept until 10am with me and was let out at midnight. |
Welcome to YT!! No he shouldn't have to go at 3 am forever. He's still a baby so it will be some time. Once he's an adult you can start watching how late it is that he's eating and how often you are walking him and his schedule should adjust to sleeping over night without waking to go. He's very cute!!!! |
Hmm Laci is 1 and last night I got up at 4 am.... most of the time she does sleep through the night.. we just had a late night play session because my daughter was here and she drank a ton of water ... Im exhaused.. |
Nope your baby shouldn't have to go out at 3 AM forever... It was the same way with both my boys!! I was lucky that I could go back to bed and sleep for a while longer!! WELCOME to the boards by the way!! Hope ya like it here I do |
wow I must have really got lucky, my axel has never got up at nite he goes to bed at 9pm and sleeps till 5 am and 6 am on the weekends...he has never pee pee in his bed. Now when my mother in law was here she said she heard him in the nite at 3am she said he whinned one time, I didn't here him so I guess he went back to sleep...so maybe having him in his crate in the living room (we leave him there, that is the warmest room with the fireplace) and we keep the heat low 65 at nite, don't want him to get cold) is a good thing....cause I don't get up! |
We had to get up once a night with Jasmine and Prissy until they were around 11 months old. Good luck. Have a Great day. |
When Callie was a puppy she had to go out at around 3:00am and after a few months it upgraded to 6:00am for a long time and now at 2 and a half she will sleep in until at least 9 or 10 am sometimes even 11am. |
As long as you don't make a fuss of him and just take him to do his toilet and back he shouldn't be long before he's sleeping lnoger. Hugs Shirl x x |
