I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I love the long coat, it's so beautiful when they are running, and Joey's coat was fairly easy to take care of, but when he started playing regularly with my son's Shih Tzu, his coat started getting shorter and shorter. Rambo likes to throw his paws on Joey's back, so I opted for a really short body hair, and long leg hair with a topknot, I love this look and it really suits my little guy. Bath time is much shorter too!

| The short hair is so easy to brush and shampoo, but I like full coats best. I can't keep all three in full coats. My Azrael is a cotton, and boy is it ever difficult, so I keep her short. Zada's is about med. length right now. She had surgery on her knee, (LP & torn ligament) so I cut her hair and now am letting it all grow at the same length till she' in full coat again. Her hair is very thick, but is silky not cotton. Razael's hair is also silky but thinner and easily maintained. She's in full coat. She's 2 years 4 months and has never had a hair cut, just trim the ears, paws and underside.

| I like a med to long coat. It's weird, Sophie has the cotton coat and knots up less than Jacie with his silky coat.

| I like the long coat but it is alot of work. One of mine has a short coat, the other a medium. I just can't bring myself to cut Princess coat short. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Definitely long coat - I love seeing the beauty of a long, silk coated yorkie running, working a ring, or laying gracefully with the that long coat flowing out around them.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Long...not that everyone here has it. Two are walking mat balls even in puppy cuts, Ramsey's is med length, Frazier is in coat....and baby Jubi is working on hers. Right now she wears a poof cut. lol
