It was a freak accident while playing on the floor with my other two Yorkies. My Axl batted at him and Jeter fell back and banged his head on the hardwood floors. I saw it happen and I called his name cause he would not get up so I went and picked my poor baby up. His little heart was still beating but he would not move..just blinked his eyes. I rushed back to get my husband and called the vet. they told me to get in fast, I live a block away from them. By the time we got their his little heart was getting weaker and weaker. I am so sorry for your loss, my yorkie nickky hit her head and the same thing happened about 4 years ago. She just could blink not even move, I rushed her to the emergency room and they said it was a brain tummer although I had explained to the vet she had hit her head. He put her out of her misery and till this day I still cry about her, she was my little sweety pie. Will see them when it is are time to go. I am a true believer in the rainbow bridge poem. I wish there was something I could say or do to take the pain and heartache away. My heart just breaks for you. I do know the pain of losing a furbaby and is is so very hard.
