You should discuss that with her...she might really want one and could make a great home for one of your puppies. You never know until you discuss it with her.

she's alread has a date to get spay in feb, i was going to do it righ after the birth but the vet told me to wait. nwo i'm just waiting for feb because i need time off work to take care of her. I am the type that worries like carzy.

I bought a chorkie for $400 when I was 17, which I truly regret because I didn't know I could have bought a purebred yorkie with the money. I wanted a yorkie desperately so I ended buying a chorkie because it had yorkie in them. Now that I know better, I would only probably spend $150-200 for a mutt.

To other posters, how much would a morkie be worth? This is irrelevant to this post, but I am considering getting a morkie in the future and all the ads I've seen are $400+. What do you think? thanks!

I told her "I apprechiate your offer, but if you are willing to adopt a mutt there are lots of places where you can find one for bearly a 100..." I named a few places and told her to let know if she is going to adopt one and from where.

She wanted the puppy that looked the most like a yorkie. The only girl. the girl has the worst attitude. she wouldn't let the lady hold her. she cried, ran and tried to hid from the lady. I had to pick up the girl and place her in the ladies arms and the whole time the little girl was shaking. The Other three puppies were friendly and playful.

You could probably find one pretty inexpensive in the shelters or on www.petfinder.com.

My concern is for the pup... if this woman is "setteling" for a mutt, because it falls into her price range... is she going to adore it, and look after it, like the treasure it is??? :confused:

I would never let anyone adopt "the puppy" that didn't appear to connect with them.

I have sold mixed dogs (accidental breeding, both dogs were tested... for breeding their own kind :rolleyes:...) and sold them for $600 :eek:. That's up here in the great white north, but that is the going rate here.

I am wondering why you think that a Morkie is not a mix just like a chorkie? If you are looking for a Yorkie you should also consider looking in the shelters for a purebreed Yorkie. Are you in TX? There are so many Yorkies in shelters in TX that they are being PTS every day for lack of rescue or adoptions. :(

Dogs are an excellent judge of people and a puppy will usually pick it's new owner. That obviously wasn't a match between these two.

if she had excepted my counter offer and after i meet her family and got to know her better and if everything went fine i would've given it to her for the amoutn of a spay/ neuter which i would give back once it's done.

I think mutts in the detroit area that are breed to be desinger pups are around 300??? ;) I peeked in the newspaper and online (I dont believe this is the best method of finding a puppy, not trying to offend anyone). And I dont even want to mention the cost at the pet shops.
