| Yorkies are therapeutic Well, as predicted, after Rocky was done licking my arm for about 30 minutes non stop he went to sleep, I moved him to my bed and just lied down next to him. I spent about 40 minutes just looking at him rubbing his belly and just being close to him. It is hard to explain, but it feel like this pup just radiates love!! It is an absolute bliss looking into his little eyes and just enjoying the the ocean of innocence. I strongly urge you to spend one hour in direct view or contact with your Yorkie, see how your demeanor changes. |

| IMO pets in general are therapeutic. Keeps you from thinking only of yourself. Think every assisted living residences, schools, mental health clinics, you name it should have a therapy dog/pet in residence. They are good for the soul. ~Joanne~

| I have to agree that yorkies are therapeutic and thats probably part of the reason I initially fell in love with my first one and put so much effort into taking care of them. It seems like I've always been in some sort of high stress, high pressure role in my job and haven;t really had any hobbies that I've enjoyed that were good for my stress level until I got my first yorkie. I can;t seem to keep myself working out which I know would be great for stress. I really enjoy being with my fur-babies. It doesn't matter what else seems to be going on. They make me laugh and smile. Just thinking about them makes me feel good inside. I love every minute I get to spend with them, whether its cuddling, grooming them or just playing. It seems to have the same effect on my whole family.

| I've had Sandy for almost two months now and he has definitely change my life (and my bf's too). In the morning before I go to work, I'll spend 30mins playing with him. When I'm home, I'll play with him for a while before making dinner. I always make sure he's in the kitchen with me so I can be with him and talk to him After dinner, we will have our time for tricks/new tricks. We cuddle up when I'm watching the telly. We usually play 'catch me' before his bed time. |

| My Harley was given to me by my husband last february after I became disabled from a neck injury and had to have surgery and could no longer work. I became very depressed because I enjoyed my job and was in school to become a registered nurse. Harley became my lifeline. My mood changed and I spent my time taking care of him instead of feeling sorry for myself. He is a joy and is where I am at all times. I swear he knows when I do not feel well. On these days he just snuggles beside me instead of pawing at my face or growling and barking at me to throw one of his toys. I could not imagine my life now without him. He makes everyday special. Donating YT 1000 Club Member | The "loving" capacity of the Yorkie breed is what made me fall in love with all of them so much. I, too, could not even imagine our lives without ours now,

Senior Yorkie Talker | I totally agree. My Yorkie always thinks that I'm dirty and bathes my arms legs..etc. I usually fall asleep pretty quick after she does it too. I can feel the love rays off of her ALL the time. Everyone should have atleast 2, so I am on the market for another one. =)

| It is hard to explain to someone who doesn't have Yorkies but they just bring something special that is really unexplainable to your lives. It is like grandkids no one can explain that kind of love until you experience it.

| Zoey brings so much into my life - I can so relate with what everyone is saying. I found a quote the other day - that can be seen in my signature that also 'resembles' this discussion. I knew that I still had a tremendous amount of love to give after loss but this amount was unimaginable and what I receive from her - there are no words or comparisons.

| So True. I got Pixie for my 30th wedding anniversary on September 15, we didn't bring her home until October. I have been going through some serious stuff since December 3. The day after my 49th birthday they found a lump in my breast and I have to have it biopsied on the 18th of jan and today they just called me to tell me that I have to go on cholestral medicine bc my cholestral is high. I work out at the gym and eat healthy, I don't understand. I have never had health issues until this year and I got hit BAM in the face. I dread turning 50! Pixie has brought me so much comfort and joy, I really don't know how I would of gotten through. Daisy is comforting too but there is something about Pixie she is a little more attentive to me. It is like god knew I was going to need something extra to get through this and Pixie is definatley my something extra!
