| New to YT and first Yorkie puppy Hello everyone! I am new to YT and am trying to learn my way around the site. My little girl is 11 weeks and very tiny. Her name is Ratchet. She is a bundle of joy and a mess at the same time. I have miniature daschunds also. Well I am feeding the puppy Propack to her and she goes to the daschs food bowl and wants to eat that. Well it is to big so I got her some of the daschs Purina puppy chow and broke it up to make it small enough to see if she would like it. Well, she does but haven't gave anymore cause not sure if it would hurt her. Anyones opinion would be welcomed. Thanks! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Welcome to YT! Congrats on you new little one. I fed Wellness puppy food, so am not familiar with the foods you are using. Sorry. Someone should come along & be more helpful than I can.

| Purina puppy chow is only rated ONE star. I personally would look into a better food for all of your furbabies. This site has great reviews on dogfood. Dog Food Reviews - Main Index - Powered by ReviewPost Welcome to YT

| I homecook, but I do have a bowl of kibble out for my girls to nibble on. I feed Petcurean (Go Natural) but Wellness is an awesome food, so is Orijen. There are many good kibbles that you can feed. You can just browse that website and read all the 5 and 6 star rated foods.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Welcome! I joined YT last month so I'm a newbie too. I have two yorkies, one is 11 weeks like yours too! But he's a boy named Lewie. I've learned a lot here so far, and after being a member I changed my food brand too! It didn't occur to me that it was such a big deal, but it sure is. I'm sure you'll find a great one.

| Welcome to YT! I also feed pre-made raw, but if you want to continue feeding kibble I would recommend trying another brand such as Wellness, Instinct, Orijen, Acana, or Innova.
