| ![]() http://animal.discovery.com/fansites...ery/video.html I found this video on Animalplanet.com., it's so pathetic. Poor lil dog! I admit, sometimes I leave Pita in the car, I hate it and it's usually only for a few minutes if I HAVE to! |

| ![]() Those people should have been made to sit in that car as long as the dog was and see how they like it! I never ever leave Gus in the car. I take Gus everywhere with me and if I get turned away for having him I will leave all together and not go back. I keep Gus in his doggy bag when we go out. He loves it! Most people don't even realize he's in there. If I am going someplace I know I will not beable to get him in,,, I don't take him.

| ![]() Can someone tell me what was said. I watched the video but I don't have sound on my computer at work. I've left Nala in the car before but only to run in and drop a moive off and go to a coke machine and the AC is always on full blast. It's just commone sense if you know you can't bring you dog in where you're going just leave him/her at the house! How hard is that? |

| ![]() How sad!!! I think it's great they have to take her to a vet. She should be checked out, and if he just gave a ticket they would never have taken her to a vet. I would never leave my babies in the car, not even in the winter. You know when she walked up, and he asked if she would want to be in there, she sure said no fast. Maybe he should have made her sit in there to feel the heat. How sad!!!! ![]()

| ![]() You know with today's carriers and whatnot, we should be able to take our pets to most places. Espically if you are going to be gone for any extended period of time to leave them in a vehicle, wether it is HOT or COLD, should be avoided. As we all know, a quick 2-3 min run could turn in to 20 mins or more and that is too long to leave a loved one unattended. ![]() Thanks for sharing this video Taje and I hope a lot of people check it out!!! ![]()

| ![]() That was SOOooo sad. People who leave pets or children in the car in such heat deserve more than a ticket. I do however, leave Pebbles in the car on cool days when I run to the grocery store or other short errands. She loves to go bye bye and she doesn't mind staying in the car at all. She has her blanket and a toy and she just sleeps in the seat until I get back. Of course, I always lock the doors so nobody will take her. I always bring her a treat back from the store too and she is always super excited to get that! |

| ![]() Are you kidding me???? I watched the video and was so shocked that the poor dog was in that hot car for a long period of time. That officer was so nice and helpful....i was crackin up when he wasn't sure if it was a boy or girl he looked at the privates and said "oh your girl" LOL how cute. The poor dog was so scared...Im glad he gave them a lecture, ticket and made them take the dog to the vet to see if it was ok. I hope that dog is being treated better now.

| ![]() This just angers me. That poor dog was just suffering horribly. I would like to see the owner in the cars for a few hours with no air. They would probably come out with fainting spells if not dead by heat stroke. How careless. ![]() |
