| new member Hi. I'm a new member and I'm very happy to have found this forum. I have a 1.5 year old Yorkie named Zippadee Doo Dawg. (Needless to say, we didn't have to pick a second name when we registered him) Call him Zippy. He's a bright eyed, smart little guy with lots of energy and we love him to pieces. I have noticed in the past couple of months that Zippy has one ear that is floppy. It was fine before that. He holds it up once in a while. He's perfect in every other way and he's our baby, floppy ear or not, but I was wondering if any one else has had this happen and what would cause it after a year. |

| Hello and Welcome to YorkieTalk! We are glad you are here. I don't have any advice in the ear department.... Sorry, but I bet some other members can help.

| Hello and Welcome! You have a very cute name for your dog. Pups with floppy ears are adorable, but if they have already been up, I would try massaging them every once in awhile to increase circulation and it will also bring his attention to them and make him aware of them. Maybe he just got lazy ear! (I made that up-heehee)
