First i hope everyone had a Very Merry Christmas!...
Yesterday Me and my fiance were at his brothers house for dinner and I over heard something that got me very angry and very sad all at once. Ok so im sitting playing with my fiances nephew and his brothers girlfriend is talking to her sister and she says "girl you know you can come get that dog now" so im like ok they are getting a dog thats great, So i ask Oh what kind of dog are you getting and she says its a chihuahua-pomeranian-miniture doberman pitcher mix... her sister has the chihuahua-pomeranian Mom and found a miniture doberman-pitcher to mate her to .... so i say well how old are they and she says 3 weeks old and i say they are way to young to leave and they look at me like im being a snobby smarty pants (they make fun of me because i love dogs and they think i treat and talk to them like they are human) so her sister says listen girl they are eating ham you can pick them up ... In my mind i was like wow but i just said they arent supposed to eat ham it isnt good for them but they didnt listen i told them the puppies shouldnt leave til 12wks and they say 12 WEEKS!!!! so they say its way to long to have a puppy and i try to explain why they should stay but they dont care about what i think so in the end nothing was accompished they had there mind set in stone and i woke up this morning still thinking about it!!!

WOW. I can see why it is on your mind. Are they really that stupid? Sorry I should not say that. Even most people know that 8 wks is what is the legal age in most states you can sell pups. We know that 12 wks are better they should listen to you.

Yes actually really stupid!!! ugh... i really dont think they know anything about those kinda laws and as i sit here i wonder what kind of horrible birth this mother must have had and care through out pregnancy ....when i say theres no educated in that department i mean it... its just sad because i can imagine soooo many other puppys are born into the same situation its crazy how do you give a 3 week old pup peices of HAM

That's very sad. With the high salt content in ham those puppies will soon be having kidney problems to boot. Poor little puppies, I feel sorry for them.

Please don't beat yourself up,there's no winner in this. You tried to educate but theres really no known cure for stupid!!!
On the bright side maybe there"s hope for the new owner-maybe they will provide good care?

Some people will always be stupid.

That is awful. Those are the people who are responsible for all the dogs and cats dying everyday by euthanization. UGH! Makes me sick.

omg ham thats crazy at 3wks that saddens me because they should know better than that. I know thats your family but i would really consider calling the animal shelter for help because thats not fair to the puppies they didnt ask to be here and shouldnt get punished because someone wants to make some money (im assuming thats whats happening here)

What did your fiance say? Is there a state law on ages a puppy can be sold in your state? I'm so sorry that you're dealing with such people and once married they'll be your family too. (((((Hugs))))))

I dont know her sisters address i just over heard them talking about getting a new puppy and we were all in the living room area together so i asked and tried to tell them that it was wrong but they looked at me like i was trying to control there situation and most of all looked at me like omg 12 wks is too long..But i sgree these are the type of people that cause the animals being put down and over crowded shelters and in the end no one suffers but these animals its just sad!

She said its 2 puppies... the girl is keeping 1 and the other goes to her sister (thats my fiances, brothers girlfirend)..
