| update on found angel well, last wednesday, i was on may way home and i was late, so i called my 16 yr old and while i was talking to her, a truck came into the driveway. I have taught my kids that if they dont know who it is, then dont open the door, dont even let them know youre in the house....well, this man and woman were getting out of their truck, so my daughter went into her room, and shut the door, waiting for them to leave. while i was talking to her, she heard someone open our side door, and call a name. when she came out of her room, the little angel was gone, and so were they. my daughter was scared, beacause she couldnt believe someone would just come into our house like that. I had those same feelings, so when I got home, I went around, looking to see if I can find that truck, well i did, ( we live in a very very small town west of Jacksonville), and so I called the police. I called them simply for the principle of it all. those people knew I had the dog for days before, and I was home for most of the week. they could have just come by when I was there and I would have graciously given him to them. Why they felt the need to come into my house, like that was wrong. but he's back where he belongs, but whats so funny, on friday, guess who came to the house, this time with a collar on, but still very close to the highway. My 10 year old son walked him back to his home, and (here's the sad part) they were next door and a boy came to the door, screamed THATS MY DOG!! and snatched him from my sons arms, not so much as a thanks or nothing, and slammed the door. I can't understand how we live in a world of such ungrateful people, people who only have things for the simple fact of saying they have something. My son was very upset by the other boys reaction. So, I am now scrimping to get my own baby, if I can find one in my price range (1000.00) Well, wish me luck, and pray for that little angel, I pray i wont find him dead on that highway they live so close to. These little guys are not meant for outside living, and thats just what he's doing. Talk to you all soon!! |

| I am so sorry that things worked out this way. Did they just show up? Did they have proof of ownership? If you feel that the dog is in danger, report them. A dog on the road is not only in danger, but presents a danger to drivers as well. Sorry that it did not work out for you, but in the price range that you say you can afford, you should be able to get your own furbaby. Again, sorry for the way it worked out, but it seems they are his owners. Poor baby |

| Oh my goodness. Ok, totally off the subject of the fact that you found a little Yorkie I believe was like a week or so ago. NOBODY, NOT EVER has the right to ENTER YOUR HOME!!! You never stole that dog, you noticed him on the side of the road and gave it comfort, food and great care. I am truly appalled by the actions of some people in this world. Not only were you children probably scared but just the morals of certain people. I truly hope you find the Yorkie pup you are looking for and you deserve it fully. And also....might wanna lock your doors.

| yes, they just showed up, and according to the police, they provided him with papers to prove they were his owners. its just sad that those kind of people own him, because its quite apparent they dont really love him. like I said before, they just have him to say they do. a lot of people who live in this town are like that. they all try to keep up and out do themselves! whats really strange about that is its only the people who are actually from here. not the ones who move here, like we did. Now Im not sure I want to keep living out here. I dont want my kids to think that those kind of actions are right, because they are not. and it also proves that no matter what age some people are, there are still old irresponsible people out there. |

| Some people are so weird!!! They should thank their lucky stars that you were the one who found their baby, and not some other weirdo!! Well you say you live near Jacksonville, I'm assuming thats Jacksonville Florida!! I live in Florida too, more west central and I only paid $500.00 for my Bell, I found an ad in the St. Pete Times, So I'm sure you can find a Yorkie for a similar price.. Just keep looking. Good Luck, Wishing you the best. Karen

| well, my daughter was washing clothes, and doing her chores like she always does. We live in a very small town, and have NEVER had to worry about anything here. I did get on to her about locking the door, but our washer and dryer are in the laundryroom outside. She now carries her key with her and locks the door. |

| This might not sound nice, but if they don't take care of angel, next time she got out I would make sure she found a new home. Poor angel deserves better. My neighbor had a pit that he was grooming to fight, she was the sweetest thing and one night she was gone. I heard she had a good home now................Cindy |

| I hate that some people don't care about their dogs at all. I can't believe that ENTERED YOUR HOME, though! If someone so much as wiggled my doornob, the dogs would be going crazy and I would have the doors locked and call the police. lol I answer the door, but keep the storm door locked. What a bunch of freaks. Sorry you had to deal with that. |

| im sure you dont want to press the issue..... but the police should have filed a report of breaking and entering, or trespassing........ its not like you were stealing the dog, and they had no right to come into youre home, people get put in jail for that ..... if you dont mind me asking what exactly did the police say??? did they write him up on charges or even ask you if you wanted to press charges???...... did they do ANYTHING about what this man did??? Also, the yorkie is obviously in a state of neglect (i read your other post) and reponsible owners would not let an animal get that bad (fur and lack of food)..... you might consider calling the animal authorities in your area in an effort to stop these people from potentially killing this dog, by neglect or letting it outside near a busy street..... if they are sited the dog can be taken away and put into a foster position or given a warning and told to clean up there act (and be checked up on by the authorities every couple of weeks for a while)....... You could easily find a puppy for $1000....... i found toby for $500 and i live in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA (where toy puppies are prized as an accesorry and cost around a grand at the LOWEST on average)... good luck finding a puppy of youre own, and again this is only my opinion, but i think those people shoudl be punished for coming into youre home and treating that dog so horribly |

| That is awful! My goodness I can't believe that the police don't seem to have a problem with these people entering your home without permission especially in this day and age when our human children are being abducted and abused. I would call the police and complain about the terrorizing of your child and then I would call the SPCA and complain that the dog is being mistreated and they will conduct a search about its welfare especially in the State of Florida. My Sydnee is almost 9 weeks old, she was a bit expensive however the breeder and her son that also breeds (Sefner) and she is in Tampa Bay. Are wonderful people. She has puppies for less than a thousand. I am assuming that the males are less than the females. I just know that Sydnee has the most pleasing personality and that speaks well of Mrs. Carter. Good luck on finding your on special sweetie. Viki |

| Those people are so rude and have no manners. And they are bringing there children up the same way. The police should have chaged them for tresspassing. All they had to do was wait until you came home. Scaring your poor children like that. And they could not even say thank you. That puppy is running a way for a reson: Poor thing. I wish you all the best on your new search. Last edited by Chester; 02-20-2005 at 09:16 AM. |

| I'm so, so sorry that this happened to you. I am sure it was very upsetting. I hope you can find a puppy really soon. I agree what everyone else has said. They have no manners and could not even offer a simple thank you?? Unbelieveable. As for them entering your home....that is NOT legal in any way and I would really press the police on this issue. That is SO wrong. I cannot believe anyone would think that was o.k. Hang in there and keep us posted.
