| Front line spray, 3 spritzes after every bath after he is towel dried. Lasts all the way up to the next bath. No problems at all with it!!! If it's not broken why fix it? LOL My vet told me that it was the best, although a little pricey, but hey, a spray bottle of that stuff will last me 6 months and thats with like 6 dogs getting sprayed after baths with it.. Cost? 20 bucks for the bottle.

| Lauri - do you buy that from the vet? We are having flea issues again with Sandy. Thankfully Tia doesn't have them - YET. Sandy goes potty outside and we have a major gopher problem so I think that is why they keep showing up. We just had the house bombed, sprayed the yard, and carpets cleaned a couple of months ago, so I'm worried that we'll have to do that all over again to get rid of the fleas. Along with taping supplies (for Tia's ears) -- I'm going to have to send my husband out for flea ridding supplies once again! The vet gave me some frontline for both Tia and Sandy, but I have no experience with advantage. Let me know how it works!

| Aimee, Yes my vet stocks it on the shelf. and I buy it from her. I don't know if you can buy it elsewhere, like at a pet shop or what. but the main reason I buy it from the vet is I know that she has a pretty quick turnover in stock so I know the shelf life on it is going to be less than say a big chain that keeps it wharehoused somewhere waiting for orders from the store. Now I guess it's true that it could be wharehoused where my vet gets it from too, but it works wonders for me. I have 2 fosters, 1 adopted Yorkies, and 1 mutt that is my daughters, and 1 pittbull pup that is my sons and they all potty outside, play outside, stay outside for good lengths of time on sunny days and we have absolutely no flea problem. Also all the dogs sleep with their respective owners. In my case my baby Pita and my 2 fosters sleep up on the bed with me.... No Dear Hubby here dang it!!! But they more than make up for his whining butt anyway! Plus they give me sweeter and more sincere kisses I don't treat my yard at all, and it hasn't been any kind of a problem. I think the darn fleas have to get a foothold or something before they really become a menace and if you keep the dogs sprayed and bathed the fleas arent' going to stay somewhere they can't get anything to eat!

| I use Revolution on my two boys, have since the beginning and never seen a flea or mite. Revolution protects against fleas, ticks, mites, including those that cause sarcoptic mange and HEARTWORM. My vet specializes in yorkies and he recommends it over 2 pounds and/or 12 weeks. Live in SOCAL, fleas are usually awful during the summer, boys go outside numerous times a day, never, never a flea anywhere. |

| Wow - lots of Californians, huh? We just drove through Los Angeles last night - killer traffic with the rain and all! I'm in central California - near Lompoc/Solvang - We live on Vandenberg Air Force Base - all of my friends with pets have a major flea problem here, a lot of people think it is the gophers, but I really don't know. Thanks for the advice Lauri - I really need to find something that will work long term.

| gophers.........lol..... thats funny, i think it is just the weather, it is a somewhat warmer cliimate here .........notice when it gets colder there isnt as many fleas??? i sure do!!! during teh winter months it isnt AS BAD of a problem, but those summer months are REALLY BAD........ i hate fleas they make my skin crawl (dont much care for ticks either, i still have scars from where i have pulled ticks off my skin)....... its good to know that advantage actually works, because biospot STINKS..... and i wanted to get him well into his treatment before the springtime because i dont want a whole bunch of fleas to lay eggs in the carpet and have them out of control during the warmer months....... |

| I am in the City of Anaheim, about 5 miles from the Stadium and about 3 miles from Disney. Funny thing my youngest daughter is up in the Santa Barbara Solvang area this week on a location. Nice to see so many SOCAL folks. And I still love the Revolution product, no smell no fleas, no heartworms. |

| I have used Advantage for years and never have a problem with fleas and down here in the south they are bad in the summer. A member on the site just lost her puppy because the vet put revolution on it, they think, the people at revolution are doing a autopsy on the puppy to see. (pebbles and me) Make sure your Yorkies ar big and old enough to handle it. My vet doesn't carry revolution.................Cindy I was thinking it might have been frontline, maybe she will see the thread and post on what it was. Sorrrrrrrrrry! | I used Advantage for Mia because she had fleas when I first got her and I couldn't get rid of them, the Advantage worked for about 2 days and then they were back. I switched to Frontline and haven't had one flea since. I've heard Frontline Plus can be bad for small dogs so I just use the regular Frontline. I buy it from www.petvetdirect.com, they sell it a lot cheaper than other places! |

| We use advantage and love it.The grooming/boarding/pet store I work for carries it as well as advantix. We sell alot of it year round, but almost can't keep up with demand in the warmer months. All I do is get the 55# tube, measure and split it between our three small dogs. What is leftover (not much)is split between the two cats.Works great.I can't use the advantix though due to it being very toxic to cats. |
