I'm sorry they messed up on what you asked, but Lexi is still a gorgeous girl!! And I LOVE the Christmas Snowflake dress and bow on her!! Where ever did you get it?:p I really am glad it fits though! She looks very pretty in it. |
She is absolutely precious, but I for the life of me can not understand why a groomer would shave just the top of her nose? If you were shaving everything else, then maybe. This is why I refuse to take Missy or Dora to a groomer. Missy's coat has just been growing and growing, I continue to trim her feet and the tips of the ears. Once it hits the floor I'll just keep trimming the tips, and if it ever becomes a matted, knotty, mess...then I'll just put her in a puppy cut. I will do it all myself though, without grooming experience. I figure she's safer, happier, and it probably looks better than what the groomers would do anyways by the sounds of it  |
Kristie Lexi still look so beautiful, but I know exactly what you mean. I took my two 4 weeks ago and my groomer did the same thing. We even discussed it before I left. She knew I had been growing her facial hair out. It had been growing for 12 weeks and was almost grown out on her nose and between her eyes. I was furious. I bought clippers and I did Bogie and Jada's belly last week just to get used to the clippers. I ordered a DVD on grooming Yorkies. I decided if I goof up at least I am not paying for someone else to do it. I am going to wait until after the holidays to do a complete groom on them. I don't want to mess them up before Christmas.LOL |

So sorry that the groomer did this, I don't know why they shave the nose either, but the groomer I worked for did this also unless asked not to. She does listen to her clients. The grooming is not that hard to do yourself. Go slow and work until you feel comfortable. Buy the wahl tid bit clippers, they work great for the ears, sanitary, and pads of the feet. I also have andis clippers with a few different blades. petedge.com is a good place to buy clippers, shears, and other grooming supplies. Good luck!!!!! Your baby is so pretty even with the nose shaved. Her dress is fabulous!!!! |

Thanks so much for the clipper recommendations, I'm gonna go look at them right now! Hopefully my babies don't hate me if I mess them up! |
I'm going to get Jackson groomed professionally one more time so he can look handsome for Christmas but after that, I think I might invest in some good clippers and give it a shot! God help me. lol |

Maybe if we tell them our husband won't allow us to pay if they screw it up I bet they would listen then lol ....but she looks adorable in my favorite color, but I can't lie I would have totally went off I mean after all its our dog not theirs we want them to look like we want them not how they want |
I recently bought Wahl clippers. The one that you can charge up and use cordless. It's been a lifesaver (and a great investment), and it's very very easy to use. I recommend them, and also the grooming videos in the grooming section here on YT helps a lot. If you buy the pet clipper kit it also comes with a helpful DVD. As for the nose being shaved, I have never seen that before till now. So sad to hear, but at least their lovely hair grows back in no time. |
I know that you want what you paid for but your little girl is beautiful! |
I always groom my dogs . I use to take my dogs to petsmart . They did a ok job . I never leave my dogs at the grooms (3 hour) by themself . So l learn how to do it myself by looking at them . It's not hard I know you can do it. |
