| Humping Question? Ok! When my pom Valentino was about 4 months he started humping Ruby my yorkie. I didn't want to take chances so I neutered him right away after seeing how intrested he was in my little girl and i certainly did not want yorkiepoms. Well now two months later he is 6 months and she is seven. She is not in heat and he still trys to hump her every now and then. Whats up with that. I thought he was supposed to loose his interest after being neutered because he won't have as much testosterone. Why does he keep doing this? Can some one with experience explain this to me. Or those of you who got your babies neutered, can you tell me if yours do this. I am extremely confuesed. |

| Actually, even some females do it, fixed or not...It's a dominance thing. Not purely sexual. Chewy got fixed at 6 months, and still tries to hump everything he can. |

| Chachi never humped Jewels but he humped his teddybear. He has stoped since he was neutered.

| It's a dominance thing. He probably just wants to show her who's the boss..haha..It's not a sexual thing, is what I've learned, it's purely dominance.

| Could Ruby end up with a false pregnancy though by this if she were in heat. |
