| "Pet" Peeves My eye Dr Claims "All little dogs are yippers" How he knew I had or liked little dogs was I have a bag that has Yorkies on it. He let out a groan and said... "Please don't tell me you have one of those little yippers?" I was like yea, I also have a Shih-tzu... He then proceded to tell me, All little dogs are yippers... I was shocked... I then said, yea maybe some are but not mine. He then proceded to say... Nope they are ALL yippers. never met one I liked, Now if you want a REAL dog... he then went off on Labs and how great they are. I was like yadda yadda yadda... So I thought to myself as he was going off on his tangent... I might as well say what is on my mind.. Soooo when he was done I said, "Yea thats all fine and dandy, if ya want a BIG DOPY DOOFUS dog who can't stop chasin his tail because he thinks he might catch it. UGH... I didn't really mean that he just totaly ticked me off. I just can't stand it when people assume that little dogs are yippers... When not all little dogs are yippers. Just like not all big dogs are dopy. UGH Just had to get that off my chest... Have anything ya need to get off your chest about your baby or what someone says about them?

| Ha, Ha! I love what you said to him! I totally agree that the yipping depends on the dog; I have had one Yorkie who barked only to alert me to someone at the door, and now have Daisy who barks........well, just because she feels like it! I have also had a big, tail-chasing Golden Retriever......my Yorkie doesn't drool, or shed, or ..............!!!!!! Happy Holidays!

| LOL, haven't we all heard that a gazillion times before? I kind of used to be that guy. YIKES! I love big dogs, I really do. Rotweillers and boxers! Love them, but I love my little lap dogs too! I always compare the benefits of poo size. |

| Mines not a yipper either so I understand how annoying it is when people say they are. I just try to ignore those kinda people but even people who arnt dog people or dont like little dogs end up liking Callie and I just smile to myself there are a lot of people who think all little dogs are yippers and mean and hate kids and its like sorry guys mine is not any of those but its like how some people think all overweight people are lazy and over eat. I seriously hate sterotypes and such.

| Sounds to me like your Dr is a jerk!!! Why can't people just keep their negative opinions to themselves. Did he think it would make you feel good to hear that he doesn't like small dogs and they are all yappers? Who cares what he thinks or likes. Just thank goodness he doesn't own one.

| Yea I hear ya about the holes in the yard... Which is REAL fun at night trying to remember where they are when I am walking the boys at my sisters. DRIVES me batty when I have to constantly say DOWN Leia to my sisters dog... Cole however doesn't really jump up on ya that much. But jumping up on people is Leia's one major problem... Chewing and steeling shoes is her other UGH.. those are 2 things my boys don't do =)) Quote:

| I think I would have told him "yeah well, my dogs might have a little something to say but at least they're smart enough not to say something insulting!"

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | The Vet at Petsmart called my Biewer puppy a MUTT. I didn't say a word. I just picked up my puppy and walked out of the exam room. Said "no thank you" to the person at the desk who inquired as to my preference on the "welness plan" and walked out of the store with my adorable bundle. |

| My sister told me that Galahad was "the ugliest thing she'd ever seen", and she is always calling him that "gross little rat-thing you call a dog". I'm not a violent person by any stretch of the imagination, but some days, it's all I can do not to punch her in the face when she opens her mouth about my fuffy little guy.

| I guess if it were my sister I'd tell her "Funny someone asked me if you two were related"
