It sounds to me like you RESCUED her from a pet store..... It is so sad when those poor babies are in cages for so long and your baby was 4 months old when you bought her.... You rescued her from being in a cage for 3 more months. Dont beat yourself up--- just be the best puppy mama you can And now you know better!

What a sweetie! What a cutie you have! I too have been so tempted to buy from a pet store as I just feel so sorry for them. I understand why you shouldn't buy from a pet store but it isn't the little animals fault that they came from a bad breeder. They didn't know better. Just love your baby! It was meant to be!

Thanks from us both for the compliments What had happened w/her was I had gone into a pet store one evening on my way home from school for bowls for my other girl (mixed breed), Casey. I had NO idea they actually had LIVE animals! Ah, my heart broke when I saw her, then asked to hold her, and you know the rest of the story & we've not looked back. And, Pips w/the ball (and, especially her "Flippy-Flopper" frisbee)... I throw them for an hour at the park & she STILL wants to play at home! She's helped me more than I have words to explain in recovering from the loss of my girl, Casey. It's sad, b/c she still looks for her, too... The only BAD things about dogs is saying goodbye Thank god for our dogs! (& I'm not at all religious)
