Teaspoon yorkie OMG, I was browsing yorkie sites on google and came across a site that advertised "teaSPOON" yorkies selling for over $4000. This is sad. I don't want to post the site in case someone knows the breeder, but that is just really sad :( |

I'd love some teaspoon and teacup yorkie lol |
Oh my nerves, what will they call them next!? |
:D:D I have a teapot :D:D |
WOW now everyone can have the puuuuuuurfect tea party! teaspoons, teacups, teapots all we need now is for someone to advertise for some tea-kettles:cool: |
Why not just buy a mouse? |
I remember someone had posted a thread on her a few months back. It may have been another person, but they had a price list and they said teaspoons were "an arm and a leg!!" Seriously, that's what their price quote was. With multiple exclaimation points. I had a customer of mine bragging she bought a micro from a pet shop. I was like, ok well see..... |
Today I had someone ask me if Missy was a teacup again. *sigh* usually I get a little defensive, but this time I just said, "I guess some people call them that". |

I could have sold them the mouse from our house last week... now...well he's gone;) |
omg I can't imagine the vet bills with those! |
Maybe you should post who the breeder is. People need to be made aware of the many bad breeders out there and on the internet. |
Maybe it was this one AKC,Teacup Yorkie puppies,Yorkie Puppies for sale, parti Yorkshire Terrier, yorkies They're charging $4000 for their "Christmas Teaspoons". |

Hmmm, Pardon my ignorance but could someone explain why the supposedly teacup (since AKC do not recognised these terms) can be registered under AKC? |
4 grand is ridiculous i have a little boy that is 2lb and did not pay that. but He is the healthiest dog i have ever had in my whole life they are not all sickly. through my own experiences with my dogs the bigger my dog was the sicker they were guess i its backward with me. i had a bull dog, boxer and a pit bull they all had crazy vet bills but not my little guy only seen the vet twice for his shots and when he cut his poor paw on the fence playing with the big dog next door but that's it. why do people get so mad when people call dogs teacups. i mean i get the "its a runt thing" but are dogs not all runts somewhere in the line of breeding if they all came from wolves. and not all runts are unhealthy breed a healthy one with another healthy one and guess that's how small chihuahuas came about .i would call my little guy a micro teacup he is not a standard yorkie that's for sure and my girls are 3 lb guess people call them teacups then there are standard yorkies that are like 4-7 lb right then big yorkies anything over 7 i think the akc standard is idk. just my thought |

Standard for yorkies is anything under 7 lbs. Just b/c they are less than 3 lbs doesn't make them teacup, not officially, anyway. |
I just don't understand why they ask such ridiculous prices for tinier yorkies, and I guess more ridiculous is why people pay it, I think it's nerve wracking having a tiny yorkie myself! Bailey is 3.5 lbs now, but when he was under 3 lbs, I was constantly stressed that he would get hurt, why people think the tinier the better is beyond me:rolleyes: |

 Okay people, I am so confused!!! I bought a Yorkie this September and was told she was a teacup Yorkie. I was told that she would remain small like as in three pounds. I wanted soemthing to put in my hip pocket and carry around the house with me. The breeder told me that Jazzi was twelve weeks old and I have had her for two months now so the age should be right. Now I am wondering something else....have I been scammed? I love this little dog and she is healthy as can be. She eats very well and she can out poop my husband!!!! She is registered with the American Canine Association....what is the difference between the two...AKA...and ACA???? Did I get ripped off by a shady breeder???? |
