![]() I know a Yorkie's coat doesn't necessarily settle until their later years, but recently, after a food change, Bella's coat has been changing from a light grey to a dark grey and darker brown to a brighter brown although the latter is less noticeable. Is it the food or just something that was going to happen naturally? Is it a good thing or bad thing? I'm hoping neither but I worry a lot about any sort of change to her behavior and/or health so any advice is appreciated. Also could the weather affect it? It has been getting a lot colder lately.

![]() How old is bella? Is she still a puppy? Usually puppy coats change until they are 1-2 years old.

![]() my female yorkie has a thinner coat...less hair than my male yorkie. She is full yorkie because I have her AKC paper and pedigree...will her hair grow out? Is there anything I can do to help it grow? I heard someone tell me to give her eggs...

![]() My yorkie is 16 months and his body coat is still solid black, silver in the head, some tan around the legs and paws, shouldn't the tan start coming in around the body by now??

I heard that it can be anywhere to 2 years for it to come out. Some are faster and some are slower. don't worry, it will come soon. I personally like the black and tan coat because it's adorable! | |
