| It's been a long time... I never got very active on this board after joining. It was too painful for me. We got our first yorkie, Cruiser, last June. In August he was diagnosed with a liver shunt and we gave him back to our breeder. She gave us another yorkie, Chewie, and nursed Cruiser back to pretty good health with a special diet and medication. In October 2008 we took Cruiser back so we then had our two little yorkies. They had so much fun playing with each other. We knew Cruiser would never be a healthy dog but we wanted to keep him happy and give him a good life for as long as we could. In October of this year, he really went down hill and after several vet visits, just when we thought we had a plan, he started having seizures. We rushed him to the emergency vet and they really couldn't get the seizures stopped and told us they didn't think he could be medically managed any longer so we made the heart-breaking decision to put him to sleep. I loved my little wuffie so much. I miss him everyday. We have since gotten a new biewer puppy, Colby. Colby is a fiesty little one. He's got so much energy! And he's adorable. Chewie wasn't too sure about him at first, but they are good friends now. Anyway, now that I have two healthy and happy puppies and feel better about coming on here and getting involved. I know people were trying to be helpful when I did post about Cruiser's condition but it would only upset me. We did the best we could for him and I am content in knowing that. I sincerely hope I can join this board without any criticism for the way we handled the cards we were dealt. I just want to have a place to come share pictures and stories about my two little dudes. They make me so happy and I know all of your doggies make you happy as well. |

| Welcome back.I am sorry that you lost your little one Cruiser, I hope it never comes to the point I have to make a tough decision like that. I am sure he was thankful you gave him the love and attention he deserved for his time here on earth. I am glad you have your two little guys to help take away some of the pain. They sure are beautiful. I have a little one year old biewer boy too, they sure are funny sweet little guys aren't they..just little puff balls of energy.

| Sorry about little Cruiser. I know the pain after having to put our "Baby" down after 15 years of loving her. We are so very happy to now have Sophie so I totally understand. Colby & Cewie are just adorable. Love their cute pics!

| You have two beautiful babies there - absolutely adorable! Enjoy your puppies and don't worry about any choices you made. Sometimes you have to love them enough to let them go. It's good to have you back again!

And as far as the criticism goes... well... this site has great people, info, and advice, but nothing is perfect and that c... is also here. Please overlook it, retain the good! And be present here more often. C... helps no one and upsets many. I am so glad you posted ! May be critics will see it and keep to themselves, but i doubt it! Anyways, you did what you had to do and now you can share ... wow... congrats on your 2 furr kids !!! XOXO
