My Yorkie Follows Me YES! My Yorkie follows me EVERYWHERE! He would get into the car and drive anywhere with me if he could! I am a teacher so when I'm home on break or the summer we joke that he becomes "emasculated" and won't do anything but follow me everywhere. He gets a bit better about it when I'm working. Then he will hang out with others, namely my fiance who says he needs time with the boys! lol :D |
Haha...I love this post :) It's so true too. Harley follows me everywhere! It's like she has to be right next to me at all times. If I don't completely shut the bathroom door, she'll bump it open with her nose and lay down on the floor next to the toilet. When I'm in the shower, I can see her through the glass door lying on the bath mat :) I love it though. I'm reminded each time I get up how much I'm loved  |

Mine usually do.But I have a cast on my foot right now,and Khloe is afraid of it.So when I get up now and move. She runs the other direction.Man..... I miss her following me around!boo hoo |
Yes, Leo is the same way. If I try to go to the bathroom without him he will either bust through the door (if it is cracked) or if he can't get in he will scratch at the door.:aimeeyork |
My Sugar isn't following me everywhere like your furbabies, but, she will check where I am. Like, she's running everywhere at home, but when I leave my chair and go to bathroom, she'll follow until the door, she runs away once she knows I'm in the bathroom, and by the time I open the door, she's already there waiting, BUT once she saw me opening the door, she runs away to continue her games. She always wants to "confirm" where I go. Like I can't run away from her...if anyone asks Sugar: "where is your momma now?" She would definitely knows the answer! ;) |
This is a breath of relief! I have had different dogs in my life, and never have I seen a dog do this. When I got Hugo the breeder told me that Yorkies are notorious for doing this! Sure enough, when I finally got him, he would follow me around. Funny thing is that he only follows ME around not my mom or sister! This skeptic is finally a believer. I love to cook and I do not like hugo in the kitchen with me so I usually crate him so he does not get burned! |
do your Yorkies follow you everywhere? Quote:

My husband and I joke that we should have named, Mocha, "Shadow" instead. Everywhere we go he has to go also. He has even jumped in the shower on more than one occasion! He looked up at me so innocently as if to say, "hey why'd ya leave me?" all I could do was laugh and quickly remove him. When he doesn't follow one of us, I begin to think, 'oh no, where is he and what is he chewing on?' I hate that he wakes up though to follow us, I have tried to sneak out/away to avoid waking him, it never works. I swear he sleeps with one eye open to just to see when I might sneak away, lol! I love my baby and wouldn't want it anyother way! |
Yep they always has, somentimes when they do follow daddy but mommy is their number one, hahahaha;):D |
My Belle follows me everywhere I go. She is literally at my heels. She is so obsessed with not being left behind I guess. When I go to my mother's house she has to stay outside in a fence by the back door. There is a table out there and she get on top of it so she can watch me. I tell everyone I have a little stalker lol |
Does my yorkie follow me everywhere? hahahahahaha. I was making a pee-pee and before I knew it Cody was on my lap, gezzzzz, ya can't even go to the bathroom in peace. I know "this is an old post" lol |
My girl doesn't always follow me but when she gets into the mood, she'll follow me so much that I try to sometimes get her distracted for a bit with a toy in another room and I'll run to my room and I can hear her scurrying really fast after me and she usually makes it to me or before me into my room >_< lol |
