So sorry to hear your dad passed so quickly. I hope that you will be able to find peace in knowing that he didn't have to deal with cancer any longer. I will keep you close to my heart as you face the difficult days ahead. Hug your furbaby and your heart will feel some comfort.

It times like this, it's hard to find the right words to express such sadness.
I'm so sorry about the loss of your Father. My Father passed away in 1981 and it still seems like yesterday.
Cindy, he may be gone physically but he'll always be around you. I'll keep all of your family in my prayers.

I find it really helps, especially when I'm having a hard time, to think of all the wonderful memories we had and these memories will never leave you.

You take care of yourself and I'll say some special prayers that you can find peace while dealing with his great loss.

I'm so sorry to hear that your father has passed. I can imagine how hard it is to be so far away, my grandma lives in Europe and has been in and out of the hospital lately but I can't get to her either.

Now that the initial shock of Dad's passing has gone by, Dad had liver surgery about 3 weeks ago to remove a cancerous tumor. The tumor was removed completely. The cancer had not spread. He was in the hospital for 4 days. He was home for another 4 days and had to go back to the hospital because he was retaining fluid in his intestines. 3 days later they took out the tube. He had been complaining that he was cold the past 3 days and wasn't eating. He started having problems breathing, and ambulance arrived and took him to the local hospital. It took two hours to stabalize him and insert a tube for the ventilator. He was sedated and brought up to ICU. The doctors stated that he came in with an erratic heartbeat and they saw fluid around the heart. It was determined that Dad has a massive infection and they tried four different drugs on him and none worked. Dad never regained conciousness and just slipped away at 3:30 am in Arizona. My mother has decided to cremate him. That means that I will never get another chance to say goodbye. That is really killing me right now.
