| Great news! I got stuck with the full 3,500 dollar bill when Missy broke her leg. What type of break does Jersey have?

| She fractured her right lateral humeral condyle. Here's a diagram to show what she did. The surgeon had to put a pin and a screw in, eventually the screw rejected and she needed a second surgery to remove it. Then two weeks after that all healed she had to go for her spay. I felt so bad for her being a puppy and stuck in her ex-pen so much for healing time. She's 100% now though, so the big bucks spent was worth it in the end.

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | That's great that she is 100%. Dr tells us that Jersey should be all healed in another 4 weeks if we continue to do what we have been doing. I can't wait for 12/22/09 re-check!! |

| Oh that is great they paid that much. I have really been wondering about insurance just in case something ever happens.

| I am glad you have insurance. It is nice not to have to pay the full bill. I am happy that Jersey is recovering nicely from the surgery. |

| Which VPI plan did you have? We're looking into insurance and are trying to figure out if we should do the emergencies only or the sick and emergencies. |
