| YT 2000 Club Donating Member | \well maybe this post was a joke. He hasn't responded yet. I support others views that "what" you walk has no reflection on your manhood. I support rehoming this little one if you can't wholeheartedly love him. Gail in ontairo |

| I think we should cut the guy a break too. Guys worry about things like this. My teenage son REFUSES to walk Lucy in her pink harness and leash because he probably would get made fun of! He reluctantly walks the Westie (whom he picked out BTY). I have a gay friend who won't even get a yorkie even though he loves Lucy because (and this is a direct quote) "you can't get any gayer than that". Now I disagree w/this sentiment and my happily married neighbors have a little Yorkie . . . but that is exactly what he thought. I don't have to worry about my macho image. ![]() And congrats to those guys who who are man enough to not worry about it! |

| My husband is about 6'4''. Our Zoey girl is about 4 1/2 lbs. It is quite funny to watch him walk her. He doesn't care. He knows who he is and he loves Zoey. He always meets other guys out walking their "small" breed doggies and they are all either married or have gf's. They have a quick giggle, the dogs play, and that's it. They go on with their walk. Besides, your pup has an aggressive, rough and tumble typical boy personality it seems. He sounds entertaining and fun! I would keep him. |

| I would have to agree................I have 3 men in my house that LOVE our little yorkies! My middle son who's 20 is always trying to talk me into letting him take one of them for a ride to pick up girls He would even let me put a cute sweater on them if he knew he could get the attention of a girl The other day he said that he wanted to take Bogey for a ride in his pickup and that he would like to use the car seat to make sure that the girl could see hi Gotta love my son

| My DH is 6ft 7ins tall and all man! We have a yorkie and a golden doodle (retriever / poodle X) - and if anything, his relationship with them shows that he has absolutely NO problem with his sexuality. They're his babies as much as they are mine, and I can confirm that he is absolutely not gay!

| OP, Please, don't be offended by all the negative replies, we love our yorkies so much that sometimes we are too protective of them. I'm sorry that you got some rude comments, and can understand why you may chose not to reply, but please come back. We're all human and sometimes speak without thinking things through. After all we don't know you and don't know if you going through the difficult teenaged years of life. But I assure you that you've got supporters here too. I understand where your question maybe coming from, after all some gay men have been kill by straight men that they didn't even know, but because the straight men thought the guy was gay they killed him. So you can never be too careful. But trust me if you keep your yorkie in a short terrier cut most people are too stupid to realize that he is a yorkie. And yorkies have such spunk that he will hardly be thought of as a sissy dog If you love this little man and can truly give him the best home possible, then raise your new best friend and be proud of him.

| Hello, thanks for the responses. This was not a joke question. I had a question, so I asked it. I am not offended by any of the responses. In short, I find I am too busy for a small new pup and I am giving to a friend that can give him the attention needed. Alls good my friends. |

| Glad to know the pup is moving on, and I sure hope he's going to a good home that will really treasure him. Makes you wonder why the OP got this pup in the first place. Why can't people take getting a dog more seriously and be prepared to make a long term commitment to the pet?
