I'm a guy and straight as an arrow. I'm a proud father of two yorkie pups. I'm thinking of getting a third one in the future.

I can't believe that you would even consider giving your dog away for that reason....everyone else has allready said what i want to say. You're about as bright as a burnt out lightbulb if you are serious about this :rolleyes:

No I don't think he can:D You and my husband are the same!! He told me the other day he wants to take our 3 shopping at Victoria's Secrets :eek::eek: And without ME!!! Only real men love little dogs.

I really shouldn't respond to such nosense...but I will. Yes, I think you should rehome your yorkie. He deserves a home where he can be loved and respected. You may want to read some info about homosexuality...owning a yorkie has nothing to do with whom you sleep...THAT makes you gay, depending on your choice. Are you kidding me!!!!
I agree will all of the other posters...why did you get a yorkie in the first place??? If your yorkie is within AKC standard, he'll always be small...under 7 pounds. You knew that, didn't you?
I get so ill when people make irresponsible choices, at the sake of someone or something else.

I tend to think this thread was sent as some kind of prank on this site. But if not I agree totally with the above completely along with all the other comments.

IMO you should rehome your yorkie. He deserves better.:mad:

The pup is only 9 weeks old which is too young for a Yorkie pup to leave the breeder. It will need extra special care & attention. Are you up to providing the care?

I have grown sons who think on the same silly lines as this. They (meaning manly-man guys who think silly thoughts) mean well but are just average guys with sometimes silly ways of thinking. I understand what he's feeling. He likes the Yorkie, probably loves him but is embarrased by being so smitten from a tiny size gladiator...LOL

To the OP...keep him, love him and get over that silly mind set, because he will give you more in return than the Labradoodle. You won't regret it.

OMG - come on people. He's just looking for some positive re-enforcement that it's ok to love a little furry kid vs a big furry kid! Buckeyedude - it is absolutely OK. My husband is far from gay and is putty in Mia & Max's hands. I couldn't tell you how many men I have seen with Yorkies or Chi's around here - and I mean MACHO men. Infact, you'd be surprised at how many Harley riders I see with Yorkies... it's sooo cute! (my hubby included) If you love that baby - keep him!!!
