| ![]() :Welcome4: to YT. You and I have a lot in common!! I just recently purchased my yerk, after my Chocolate Lab had to be put to sleep. She was 13 years old, and her health was declining. I just could not bring myself to get another BIG dog, because I couldnt take one to work with me (at the Hospital). Plus, my new husband has dog allergies. Once you are a dog lover, I don't think you can live without one. So I researched and searched all about Yorkies before deciding. I know the day and life of a single mom, I have been there too. How lucky are you to work from home? I am jealous!! I have a 12 and 5 year old. Both love animals as well. My 5 year old helps a lot with Brooklynn, and my farm on facebook Haha! I think only you know what is best for your beautiful family. I learned A TON from Yt, and I am sure you will as well. My advice is to do your research, and be ready, these Lady's (and Gents) know their stuff! And, from what I have witnessed are ANIMAL lovers to the core wanting only the best for any and all pets. Good luck to you, I look forward to getting to know you! :0)

| ![]() G2Momma...I'm so sorry to hear about your lab!! That is always so hard, but I don't think I could ever be without a dog. I got Flik right after my brother passed, and he really save my life. I was not in a good place and he just brought up my spirits!! It is good to have other sources for advice for anything! I can't believe how much I rely on other mothers on the internet for advice. I can't imagine this experience being any different! I too look forward to getting to know all of you! Also...talked to my mom about Tank looking enormous in that pic...it is just the picture and the angle supposedly. He looks small in the other pics. ![]() |
