| Stuff like this can happen anywhere. Ozzy and Shanon Osbourne's pomeranian Lil' Bit was killed by a cyote in the back yard of their mansion in Beverly Hills. I think I heard that the same thing happened to Jessica Simpson's dog.

| Thanks for posting the warning. Each time I see a thread like this it reminds me to be extra cautious.

| I live in a semi- rual area and I was outside with my yorkies about 7 lb and as I was walking back into the house yorkies in tow I felt something graze the back of my hair when I looked up I saw a hawk shooting up in the sky. He was going after my yorkies and they quickly ran into the house but if I had not at that moment had not been already opening the door who knows what would have happened. I was amazed how bold that hawk was to try and pick them up with me literally standing right there. I usaully scope out the back yard in the trees before we go outside and if I have had any sightings in the past few days they are not allowed outside. I do have a safe 12x12 enclosed run they can go into to play. |
