I had two leads that popped up yesterday but both weren't Yorkies. I was so sure about one. If you're watching craigslist make sure you do as sunshinnes does and search for Found Dog, not just Found Yorkie. Most times they don't even want to let on it's a little one since they're so valuable and there's pirates out there!

I just posted a separate topic for this but I wanted to post it here too. Gen has made a YouTube video for Cookie and I'm hoping that everyone will go rate and comment so we could maybe get it on the front page of YouTube where millions of people will see it. I know Gen has talked to a pet psychic twice, and it's the one who found the Chihuahua that was blown away in a storm. The cost of another psychic is always a problem.

Today was a very frustrating and disappointing day.
All I know is that this person is lying and I dont know the reason why.
The only facts I know is that this person lied to me. I dont have any actual proof that they have Cookie.
Today I was suppose to see a dog and had an appt. Well I get there and the girl tells me the dog is not there and is with her relative.
Why setup an appt if there is no dog there??
The relative and the yorkie would be going there later today at a certain time she told me she would call me at that time. Like an idiot I give my cell phone number thats on the freaking flyers.
She never called. SO I called her and she wont answer the phone.
Hubby called, wont answer either. I left a message and so did he. No calls to us. Two different names were given to me so I dont even know this girl's real name.

At this moment I CANT go to the police with this "hunch" I have no proof at all that it might be cookie. They are not going to investigate the lies she told me.
Who can I go to!!!?? I wish I knew a detective here that I could tell all this to. There is much more to the story but I dont want to go into any more detail.

To say I was upset is an understatement. We couldnt even go into the place! She opened the front door and spoke to us there. It was COLD today too.

I was so angry that I just wanted to grab this woman by the throat and make her tell me the truth. Yes that is what I was thinking but my face was all smiles.

Tomorrow I do a little more digging to see if I can prove another lie that I suspect.
Geeze my reward is more than what she is asking for the dog! I did get pictures but the dog has a very bad haircut. REally short and the face is all choppy. Its around the same size as Cookie also. She says he is younger but that is what she says.

I need someone that is a breeder or had shows dogs. Not everyone can compare two dogs easily. By the first look it does NOT look like Cookie.

One thing someone told me to do is compare the noses.
They look very,very much alike when I zoomed in Cookie's pic and this other dog.


I need a Breeder, or Show dog person to PLEASE PM me so I can email them pictures to compare.

That video was soo touching. It made me cry. Why don't you get someone else to call and inquire about the dog like if they had seen the ad? Maybe someone that knows Cookie well that they don't know about, that way they can go and at least try to identify whether it is him or not.

Gen, I can not begin to tell you how much I hurt for you. This is a living nightmare for you and your family. You get a lead that is strong then you get there to not even be able to see the dog and now another emotional night for you guys. I pray the work you and Cookie are to be doing is finished soon, May the answer be close and know alot of people are praying for you, May today bring your much needed answers. I am trying to set something up exactly like that.
lastnight I was so angry I could not sleep. I sat up in bed with my arms crossed like a little kid, Monica on my lap until I fell asleep like 2 hrs later.

I called the cop that gave me a case number but she works nights so I will see if she calls tonight by 7 at least. If not I will give her another call.
The case was not given to a detective. When I called and asked to speak to the officer the secretary did a little checking to see if it was assigned to a detective and it wasnt.
Of course I figured that.

I called a number on a flyer that was taped right under my poster today.
Another family lost their dog in my neighborhood but its a 9 mo German Shepard. It has been spotted twice but it is running like crazy and its been on the streets for 3 days. The owners are going insane and are following the same steps as me. They are driving around as I type. THey were looking until 2 am lastnight and let me tell you it was about 35-45 degrees. I know its not cold for people up north but that is freezing for us in FL! lol
I let her know that she has a very good chance of finding him since he is a big dog. Plus Animal Control is called more often for bigger dogs. So check with them every 2 days at least.
I could hear her voice cracking about to cry. That feeling is horrible

I just came back to this site after a long absence and saw that Cookie was missing. I'm so sorry! I'm sending up prayers for Cookie to come home safew and sound.... and SOON!
