You have gotten some really great advice from everyone. Prayers are going up for you and your baby. I so hope he comes home. Don't give up.

I couldn't imagine it... I'm actually crying right now as you reminded me my beloved cat who left me some years ago.
I was like a mad man running everywhere, searching everywhere, asked people about my her. No one saw her, I kept this going, I cried for months but she never return back to me. Some people guessed my neighbor (they like my cat very much) took her, they went to their hometown the day I lost my cat. I asked them, they denied. Months later after I searched everywhere but no news, I have to tell myself that my neighbor was lying, they took it...maybe I'm lying (still) at myself, but I really couldn't imagine my cat was out there all alone. She's my forever pain

Praying for Cookie to be safe and to come home to you soon. So sorry this had to happen. It breaks my heart thinking of what you are going through.

Is your gate locked?
After reading all the replies from you, I really think someone took him. Is there any outsiders came from other places to your town? Maybe baby Cookie took their attention and they took him. If someone took him, I'm sure they will feed him and at least give him a shelter

My heart breaks for you! I cant imagine the pain you are going thru!! I pray that God brings your little one back to you safe and sound! Please keep us updated and have faith that your little one will come home soon!

:( I am so so so sorry about Cookie. There have been other threads here where people said they put "needs medicine" on the flyers, so if somebody did take him, they might return him for fear of vet costs.

Its a sad thing to say, but if it helps get your baby home, its worth a shot.

This is so sad. I had to just sit down with my little girls and hold them for a few minutes. My heart goes out to you. I\'ll say some prayer\'s to St. Anthony for his safe return.

By all means, let the police know that he\'s missing from your yard. Maybe they have seen someone unknown to the area.
Our department, knows who should be in our area. My babies were almost taken 3 times while they were out for their walks. The police department was informed and now keep an eye out.

Try and get some sleep, so you\'ll be rested for tomorrow. I know it\'s difficult but try..

Our gate is locked. Any person could walk and open it though. I posted in the flyer that he has a liver disease, which he does. He has MVD it\'s a mild liver shunt. If someone decides to feed him chicken, cheese or any kinds of meat as treats..its only a matter of time until his bile acid goes up and he will have a seizure. It\'s happened several times in the past until he was diagnosed and has not had another seizure episode for like 2 yrs I think. He is neutered because of that. I have been asked many, many times to use him for stud services because of his tiny size and I tell them he is neutered...
My husband just went out with a bright flashlight. I just came in from searching our block again. Today has been an awful day for all of us. My teenager rushed and printed flyers before I could think straight and posted several. I could not eat the entire day except for hot cocoa. My hubby skipped lunch & dinner and feels so helpless and can\'t sleep so he just took off a few min ago.

I have made a list of places to call tomorrow , all shelters in my area and nearby cities, our vet and other vets, animal control.
I keep thinking this is a nightmare. My hubby\'s yorkie keeps walking around like looking for something. Maybe he feels all this too :( I want him back in my arms soo bad.

I feel your pain...I pray for the safe return of your Cookie and your peace of mind.

Have you actually gone around the neighborhood and knocked on doors, listening for Cookie to bark? Walk the neighborhood with your other dogs, squeaking Cookies favorite toy? Talk to everybody you see, you never know who might know something. And last but not least, offer a reward...with no questions asked!!!

I am so hoping this turns out good for you and he comes home!
