My baby is missing. I dont know what to do!???

You must be absolutely beside yourself because we all are on here and its not even happening to us.

Is there nobody on here who lives near you who could help out by staking out the apartments?

I do hope that those who have him don't know that you are on to them.

Why oh why have they done this to you? What I think is strange is that the woman walking the yorkie actually told the other woman that she found it. If you had no intention of handing the dog in somewhere would you say that? Wouldn't you just say you got him from a rescue place.

I have constant reminders of Cookie several times a day. Yesterday I had to work at a business palooza. It was free advertising for any small business and we desperately need that. I was there but my mind was not.
I had to go to the store and pickup candy to put on a dish on our table and I am hearing the store radio and the radio hosts are talking about some person called Cookie The whole time I was in the store I kept hearing it " We have Cookie here today!" "So many people are interested in Cookie so Cookie is here today on our show!" I just wanted to leave as fast as possible.
I kept checking my cell phone to make sure that the lady had not called me.
If she would have called during the work hours that I had to be there, I would have left my table in a heartbeat and go get my baby.
I keep praying that someone she can get the yorkie on video or picture. I can ID my baby by picture.
I can id it by video seeing how the yorkie walks. Cookie always walks like a little drunk man. If you call him to come to bed. He walks slowly with his head down. I always made fun of him telling him " Are you falling asleep little man?"

A lot of things could have happened since I went there. Someone might have told them and they gave the dog to another person.I am hoping that he has to see a vet very, very soon and they take him or surrender him ...something...anything!

Vets are aware or will be aware by Tuesday that there is a witness that knows a person has a missing Yorkie and is in that area to PLEASE keep their eyes peeled.

I have thought of several things that should be changed as far as polices for every vet or emergency hospitals.
I know it would be a pain in the butt but I think that Vets should now
snap a picture of a new pet patient and staple it to their file.
I know dogs and cats change but a once a year picture to replace the previous one. This way even if the "pet owner" says that this dog has different name. The vet will have a picture and someone like me could ID that dog.

Just a thought.

YT and several YT members that I have talked to will be the first to know
I wish I could give each and every one of you a hug and thank you in person.
If this turns out to be Cookie I will meet up with this woman in person and give her the biggest hug

I am so sorry. How many apartments are there? I know you don't want anyone to know you are coming for him... but what about just knocking on every door and asking if they have seen him?! If you have enough residents claiming to have seen him maybe the police will do something.

Does he bark have you gone at different time and called his name? Maybe he would bark or scratch at a door....

I wish you all the luck in the world and we cant wait to hear that Cookie is home safe with you and your husband!

I am concerned that they could be watching this site too. On a positive note, this sure seems like the best lead Gen has had so far.

That's why things are kinda quiet. I think the best thing Gen can do is just wait for the person who contacted her and is helping her. I wish I could be there to spot as well, but I think it's best to just go with the help she has. Sort of a 'dance with your date' situation. In the meantime I'll continue, as will others, to watch the found dog ads just in case.

I am so sorry for all your sadness. I just believe that you have been lead down this road to find cookie. I really don't think God would of had you go through this to have you so disheartened. His plans are to do us good not harm. That is why I believe that you are going to get your Cookie back. The girl never said " we or I have no intention of returning him"
what she said was " I saw him on the side of a street and I picked it up and took it home and kept it" The lady told me by the expression she could tell that they were keeping the Yorkie and that was that...

I was very afraid that someone might be lurking and have seen this thread.

Today I saw another sad poster. As I'm coming home from the grocery store I notice a smaller laminated poster just below my poster on a stop sign.
It said LOST PUPPY. Its a pug missing now in my area. My husband and I looked at the poster and he said " You see, all you've done is helping others"
Because this has been the first time that I have seen any sign laminated.
I just dont know what it is. I have never noticed so many missing dogs in our city. I think it's at least 4-5 dogs in our area.

I'm astounded by all of the missing dogs too. It makes me wonder if this is how some people are making up for the bad economy: selling stolen dogs. Pugs are really popular right now.

I hope I'm wrong . . . keeping a dog you find that obviously belongs to someone else is bad enough.

Your husband is right, though, Gen. You've accomplished so much good through this heartbreak.

How I wish! I contacted the rescue group (I am familiar with them since that's where I got Max) and inquired about the dogs. I told her about a friend of mine, Gen, and how her yorkie went missing. She informed me that all 10 of these yorkies came together from a breeder.

Also, even though the location is Florida, its in Inverness which is about 4 hours or so away from Gen. However, I do realize that anything is possible.

This breeder could have aquired Cookie though. It is definitely worth checking out. You may be surprised how far a kidnapped yorkie could get.

Richard, you had me LMBO when I read this.

I was just checking in to see if Gen has heard anything new. I so hope she finds Cookie soon. I can't even imagine what she is going through. Still saying prayers for you Gen and your hubby, family and of course, little Cookie.
