| Ridin out the storm Home today riding out the Nor' Easter with Ruby, Ringo, Max, and Ginger. This storm is as bad as Hurricane Isabel. Lots of wind, rain and flooding. We are warm and dry cuddled up on the couch with a blanket and nice cup of coffee. They are happy to have mom home today........makes me feel loved. Had to call the vet about Miss Ruby though. She has an ear that has been bothering her. I just love our vet, Dr. Wolinski. She called me back herself and not only told me what to do for Ruby but as always asked about all the others. She is great! If anyone lives near the Salisbury, Maryland area I HIGHLY recommend Healing Hands Animal Hospital. They are the best. Everyone who works there is so nice and they love your babies like their own. Well, wish us luck today with this storm. They are saying that the worst is yet to come. |

| We deal with a lot of hurricanes here in TX too. Most of the time we're blessed and it misses us but not so much last year when Ike hit. Keep safe, warm and dry! I can't imagine a better way to ride out a storm! |

| We are home too again from school. Don't know what the kids are up to, but me and the furbabies are staying on the couch with a good book! Pam |

| Hope you all stay safe! We get no hurricanes out here, so I have not experienced what you are going through. Stay warm and dry!

My poor Max is frustrated that he can't go for his big daily walk -- for the second day in a row. We never miss a day. When he was neutered and restricted from walking, I carried him around our usual mile-long trek each day for 2 weeks. We were so desperate this morning that I took Max to Lowe's to walk around. Stay warm and dry Ruby, Ringo, Max and Ginger -- and make some hot cocoa for your Mommy! | |
