| Your pups are both adorable! Welcome to YorkieTalk! ![]() Mee-kah is only 10 weeks, so I would massage her ears and shave the tips. I am not an expert, but it looks like they are already up quite a bit. My pup had creases in her ears and the groomer said it looked like the cartilage was broken and probably wouldn't go up. I massaged, gave calcium, and finally taped them for a couple days and they did go up! I think taping them right now would discourage the circulation. I am afraid to clip my own dog and always planned on taking her to be groomed. We started by taking her in around 4 months of age and having a bath and sani-trim, ears and feet trimmed. This way she would get used to being groomed and have a happy experience. But if you are brave, you can get lots of advice here and try it yourself! And you will love your Mee-kah no matter what the size. Yorkies are little surprises. They grow and change color and don't look anything like they were when puppies! So much fun!!!

| When I got my little Oliver from the rescue one of his little ears was down so she had taped them. I left it on for the couple days she told me too and when I tried to remove the tape it was horrible. That little boy cried. I never taped his ears again, but once he was done teething, his ears were at attention, and have not come down since. |
