| ![]() I just wanted to take a second to express my love for Peanut. I would also love to hear everyone else's expressions too!! I love Peanut so much, I NEVER thought I could love a dog as much as I love him. I don't even think of him as my dog, I think of him as my child. (is that crazy??) I do everything in my power to make sure he is safe, loved, and happy. He has giving me so much joy in my life. He has been my companion. Everyday I believe we get closer, and I love him more and more. I have had a lot of family drama lately and my DH and Peanut have always been there, if it came down to it I would be content with just them, Luckly things are getting better with my family... The yorkie breed is the BEST! I honeslty think that, they are very special.

| ![]() We had to have our sheltie, Max, put to sleep this past summer. Two weeks later, I went looking for another sheltie and found Jack. He was so tiny and so darn adorable, that my daughter and I just had to bring him home. My DH told me when I left the house to not bring a dog home, he didn't want another one. He is a disabled vet (served in both Golf wars) and is home all day. So of course, he was thinking that he would have to take care of another dog. We have three cats but I am a dog lover - I've had a dog all 40 years of my life! So, I couldn't resist. My DH even sent me a text right before I went into the store (I know, don't yell at me - I saved a baby and have since become so much more educated about puppy mills, byb, etc.) Okay, so my daughter and I get home with Jack and all I could do is look at my DH and say, "How can you resist this little face?" Yes, my hubby is home all day with Jack and my hubby combs him, has potty trained him, and is teaching him tricks. LOL Jack has won over my heart, both of my daughters' hearts, and the hardest of all, my DH! ![]()

| ![]() It's not crazy to think of him as your child. I think of Galahad and both my cats the same way...they're just as much my children as my human kids are. ![]()

| ![]() The love I have for my dogs is indescribable. They sleep in my bed (I am single) and I think that when you let an animal sleep in your bed it's true love ![]() I even love the way they smell! I have always been grossed out by germs and dirt but I am fanatical about their grooming and baths so I deal with it. Somehow I ended up with 5 Yorkies! No one can believe it including me. I added a male to my two girls and I have 2 puppies looking for homes. I do love all of them. I am always picking up healthy things for them to chew on and healthy treats. I frequent 3 different pet supply stores and shop catalogs all the time looking for things for them.

| ![]() I feel blessed to have my dogs in my life. They follow me everywhere, and they hate to be left out of any of my activities. I love them, and they give me unconditional love back. My dogs make my life more interesting and fun. Their unique personalities make me laugh, and I enjoy playing with them. We are so lucky to have these cute little animals in our lives. Everyday I feel like I get a closer bond with Josh. He is so affectionate. He snuggles in my lap and lavish me with a lot kisses everyday. I love the Yorkie breed too, and I also love the Shih Tzu breed. I love my sweet furbabies. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by JoshieBoy; 11-07-2009 at 02:37 PM. |

I agree with you the Shih Tzu breed is up on my list next to Yorkies, I have never owned one but my best friends sister had one and she was such a doll with a great personality, she was so loyal to her Momma just like Yorkies!!
