Bailey is my new paper shredder...she destroys everything

So I got home last night and Bailey is baby gatted in my kitchen during the day so she cannot escape. To my surprise she escaped yesterday for the first time and shredded my friends books that i was supose to give her back. The stairway looked like it snowed it was white shreded pages EVERYWERE.
it was funny she was hiding when we got home, she totally knew she did something wrong.
and this is not the first time she does this as well. I puppy proof my house but she likes to jump up at the toilet paper and grab on to it and run throughout the house..LOL so funny, I just need to remember to keep my door close.
Any who, now i feel bad and I am going to buy my friend new books but is anybody elses furbaby loves to destroy anything and everything??
and how do you make them stop?? lol

Fiona likes to shred paper too! She hasn't done it since she hit 1 yr old though....hmm...let me think of what you could do!!!!!!????

I cannot leave any type of napkin, papertowel, tissue annnny where! These little boogers will sniff it out if it is near there reach. lol

I have come home to ripped bills and shredded napkins (that my husband leaves from his midnight snacking). Yeah, it looks like a blizzard when they get through. lol

Thank goodness they haven't discovered the toliet paper...I think they are too short.

My Bailey is a shredder too!!! Any little piece of paper she can get a hold of she tears up until it's tiny. I too have book covers torn up, as well as magazines, DD homework, you name it, it's been torn up. We try to keep everything off the floor but our cat thinks it's funny to knock things off the tables. I think the cat and Bailey are in cahoots!!!

My Missy likes to chew on wood! I had to take a little wood chip out of her mouth the other day... We moved into a new place and I thought I got everything off the floors. I don't know how she is able to find everything on the floor, not matter how small!!

When we first got Lola she would take the toliet paper off the roll and run with it and then shred it..

I still laugh when I remember the first time I saw Gunnar running full speed around the hall corner, from the bathroom, into the living room with a stream of toilet paper following him!
I thought it was hysterical!!

Buster and Maggie should have a job as a paper shredder. These babies will shred any paper, anywhere. I really have to watch the trash can in the bathroom, they will both pillage through it. When Buster was younger, he got the toilet paper and it was all through the house. Too funny! Buster will eat the paper so I have to be careful that he doesn't get to it.

ahhh...the joys of owning terriers...haha. Terriers shred things because it's just part of the breed...we can't have toilet paper on the little ring in the bathroom they're locked in during the day...it has to be on the counter where they can't reach it. If you let them, they will shred things. I really don't know how to stop it other than stop them from doing it if you actually catch them in the act. If my boys shred anything these days, they know as soon as I come in from work that they're in trouble...those crazy kids...they know it's wrong, but they do it anyways. We actually haven't had any shredding issues for about 6 months, since my little Tank was 6 months old or so. They shredded a couple towels - they're still useable, but they have strings, haha. you gotta love Yorkies...
