ahhh...the joys of owning terriers...haha. Terriers shred things because it's just part of the breed...we can't have toilet paper on the little ring in the bathroom they're locked in during the day...it has to be on the counter where they can't reach it. If you let them, they will shred things. I really don't know how to stop it other than stop them from doing it if you actually catch them in the act. If my boys shred anything these days, they know as soon as I come in from work that they're in trouble...those crazy kids...they know it's wrong, but they do it anyways. We actually haven't had any shredding issues for about 6 months, since my little Tank was 6 months old or so. They shredded a couple towels - they're still useable, but they have strings, haha. you gotta love Yorkies... |
