| Emergency Help!! Mia is sick, she has been fine all day, now she is acting strange almost like her sugar is low. I gave her nuta cal, she just wants to sleep. she threw up after I gave her the nutra cal. I don't know if its my imagination, but her ears feel warm and her nose is dry. There is no place I can take her this time of night, is there any medicine I should give her? She acts a little confused also.

| I would give her Nutrical and some Pedylite to drink until you can get her in to see the vet. |

| Nutrical is great. I would also try to feed her some water. You may also want to give her another lick of the nutri cal and hold her in your lap and keep her calm. I'm sorry I'm no more help - hope she feels better. |

| All vets have an emergency number to call. Just call the office number and the recording will tell you what number to call.

| Check her gums- if they are white or gray she is really sick.... Double check with the vet office to see if they have a recording for after hour services. If not check a neighboring town....

| Im glad that your little one is feeling better. Probably she had an hypoglycemic episode, keep an eye on her tonite and to be safe take her to the vet ASAP. I will have you both in my prayers. Please keep us posted. |

| Too many things can cause these actions. Make sure you keep her hydrated and loaded with NutriCal on your way to the vet.. These episodes do scare me..and I hope I am just being over reactive. Keep us posted.... |
