a little Yorkie talk research

I have a topic running on here that has been VIEWED over 500 times, with only 50 or so comments, many of which are my own....therefore, there is a LOT of lurking going on on here, and my data show that less than 10% of the people who view a topic take the time to comment in it.

I am guilty! :rolleyes: You got me on that one. I do a lot of lurking - sometimes twice a day I log on just to see what is going on. I am still looking for my little furbutt so I am doing a lot of reading and researching. At this rate is going to be like when I had my daughter - nine months of waiting, reading, excitement and don't forget a case of the nerves!

Don't hate me because I lurk! I am doing it for the sake of my future furbutt.

I read alot more than I post even though I do post alot. Alot of those views could be guest views and they cant post

Sometimes I keep checking back on a thread that I've commented on to see what other people say. So you figure, if everyone does that, that's a lot of views. ?

I am Guilty 2...Just got my first Yorkie puppy and love reading all the posts and finding out new things ... but i cannot really see a problem with this... is there??????:confused:

Don't we all read more than post? I think that is normal. Much of what I read I feel I don't have anything valuable to add to the thread, so I move on. With limited time, I'm usually speed reading anyway.

I definitely read way more than I post. But it's important to remember that guests who cannot reply and [i believe] web spiders are counted in those views... So it's a bit misleading.

I don't usually post unless I think I have something to say that would help, or if I need help. Sometimes it's just fun to read, unless it's in the Sick and Injured forum.

This is a very well-behaved forum. I'm part of a wooden boat forum that see's members put on temporary ban all the time because of arrogant, insulting comments. None of that here so far.

I have to admit I too read more then I post...could you imagine how many posts we'd have to read if everybody posted on every thread they read? I'd never be able to keep up, I can't keep up now, and know I miss so much...

I'm always lurking. Lurking is fun and educational. If I have something helpful to add I will if it hasn't already been covered.

I only go look at the pictures and videso if I have enough time to comment 'cause our little furbutts are sooooo cute.

I read alot!

Sometimes a title is deceiving and the thread isn't about what I'm expecting and I don't really have anything to reply.

And yes, we can get hot and heavy in here and folks have been banned in here too! Some subjects can be very touchy! We are passionate Yorky people :)
